At the beginning everyone was laughing. But when he started to sing the entire room fell completely silent stunned by the gift of this young mans talent. By the time he was finished he received a standing ovation and rightfully so. He did an amazing job. One of my all time fav performances on any show.

That's because of the way TV talent shows work. Sure, Kevin won but his popularity didn't last long at all. If you sign up to one of these shows, you, as the artist, have no control over your music. If you win, you basically lose as well. Sure, there have been singers that have stayed relevant but they are the exception. So many young artists get sucked into this trap. If you win, you get to make one album, and have one short tour and then the record labels just shelf you, while the public never hear from you again. This is what has likely happened to Kevin. Let me ask you a question, can you remember all of the previous winners of your national talent show? Probably not. It's because this has also happened to them too. Talent shows work on the premise that there's always new talent and so that's why every new show promises to be better than the last, essentially making the viewer want more new singers, and completely forgetting the previous winners. Their careers are sadly over before they even start. Talent shows aren't really about the talent, they are about selling advertising and marketing new singers, while the old ones are essentially like chewing gum that's lost its sweetness.

I ve worked in a poultry plant ...the chicken catchers were who were responsible to get the chickens to the plant on time so the rest of us can work to pay our bills and so on..hats off to this guy! And he can sing to boot! !! Let him be who he is! The guys used to catch 1200-2600 chickens 5 days a week.. 3 guys! So if there's 6 then hey ...we were all FIT.thumbs up man.this guy has more class and dignity and integrity as a chicken catcher than a rock band that may never hit the stage again..... this guy didn't have to try to prove a point and doesn't have to fake it

this guy sings amazing. he really had me getting sentimental his voice is so captivating and full of emotion.
Everytime I listen this song, I close my eyes, feel the guitar and the voice and it always made my day. One of the best in reality show..

I'm in tears, music defines all odds communicates with every person. It did not matter how he was a chicken catcher a hillbilly. Once he strung his guitar, he started to wail the blues! His voice brimming with emotion passion and u can't help feel maybe he was singing this for his wife. So beautiful. Love from Hong Kong
At the beginning everyone was laughing. But when he started to sing the entire room fell completely silent stunned by the gift of this young mans talent. By the time he was finished he received a standing ovation and rightfully so. He did an amazing job. One of my all time fav performances on any show.
I sit in my house pretty much every evening and I watch and listen to Keven and never get tired of him he brings tears to my eyes I call the tears happy tears.

That's because of the way TV talent shows work. Sure, Kevin won but his popularity didn't last long at all. If you sign up to one of these shows, you, as the artist, have no control over your music. If you win, you basically lose as well. Sure, there have been singers that have stayed relevant but they are the exception. So many young artists get sucked into this trap. If you win, you get to make one album, and have one short tour and then the record labels just shelf you, while the public never hear from you again. This is what has likely happened to Kevin. Let me ask you a question, can you remember all of the previous winners of your national talent show? Probably not. It's because this has also happened to them too.
Talent shows work on the premise that there's always new talent and so that's why every new show promises to be better than the last, essentially making the viewer want more new singers, and completely forgetting the previous winners. Their careers are sadly over before they even start. Talent shows aren't really about the talent, they are about selling advertising and marketing new singers, while the old ones are essentially like chewing gum that's lost its sweetness.

People may think I'm crazy but the best part of Kevin isn't his voice by a long shot but his incredible guitar playing and the fantastic sound quality of those ringing notes...

It’s 2022 and this audition is still one of the best ever because it’s rare to see and hear such a beautiful performance. If you live to be 100 you’ll never hear a better voice- different maybe but never better.

I ve worked in a poultry plant ...the chicken catchers were who were responsible to get the chickens to the plant on time so the rest of us can work to pay our bills and so on..hats off to this guy! And he can sing to boot! !! Let him be who he is! The guys used to catch 1200-2600 chickens 5 days a week.. 3 guys! So if there's 6 then hey ...we were all FIT.thumbs up man.this guy has more class and dignity and integrity as a chicken catcher than a rock band that may never hit the stage again..... this guy didn't have to try to prove a point and doesn't have to fake it
