4 outboard engines on the stern is not exactly a good fishing arrangement. I would get the boat with twin inboards so I have a clear stern area for fighting and hauling in fish. The outboards don't make for a good fishing rig.
They are getting more prevalent on the billfish scene, mainly due to the sheer speed. Agreed, backing down on a fish particularly. Some big wins on centre consoles though. A 35 foot contender won the 2020 Big Rock Marlin Tournament against the big boys.

@@thebritishboatguy3130 Backing down is overrated...you can spin the center console around and chase it better... Same with a big sportfish boat.
