MY OTHER RUclips CHANNEL

WHY I OFTEN DON'T MENTION OTHER BRANDS IN MY VIDEOS.
You may have noticed that I often don't mention the original brands that watches I am reviewing pay homage to. This is very intentional and not meant to offend you or the original brands. I lost my first channel in October 2020 which I had spent 9 months growing and invested a significant amount of money in simply because I had mentioned the original brands in some of my videos. There are people who try to use RUclipss lack of understanding when it comes to the difference between homage watches and fake watches to attack other channels and their owners and sadly I fell foul of this in 2020. This channel was also attacked recently and RUclips deleted content simply because I had said 'subby homage' and 'Rolex homage' in two videos despite the watches in the videos being perfectly legal homage watches. Please understand that I can not afford to risk my channel so I will no longer be mentioning other brands when reviewing homage watches.

Homage watches are legal as long as they do not carry the name or trademarked terms or names of the original maker which no watches in this video do.
Thank you for your support!

Hmm...that logo looks suspiciously like it's wanting to appear like Vacheron Constantin from a distance...
I don't understand why they continue to use butterfly clasps on their dive watches. They should have a proper quick adjust dive style clasp at this price.
I dunno, I always find these over priced for what they are. They're leveraging their Italianess a lot for something that's just made in China like most other micro brands. And then charging extra for a half link? It just leaves a bad taste in the mouth.
Exactly!
A clasp with no means to adjust on what is ostensibly a dive watch too. What the heck? An obvious admission to the fact that 99% of people are desk divers? Lol
Also a case back secured by tiny screws? Yuck.
For the money I think there are far, far too many better options out there. This just does not offer anything particularly notable that makes it stand out from the crowd.
I read on their Instagram page about the model Nereide GMT Ceratung, and it said that the final assembly of the watches is done in Italy by their own senior watchmaker who comes from an old family of watchmakers.
@@rayintheforest I'm somewhat doubtful.
@@rayintheforestmaybe they put the straps on in Italy.
@@MPiKMS72I agree with everything said here, but who else offers a tungsten bezel insert?
It's a beautiful timepiece and I like the use of materials. That customer service though...
They do look great…I get a lot of Oris Aquis vibes. However a butterfly clasp just doesn’t work for me in this diver…
3:45 The moment you know Gary is trying to send us a message in the matrix - had to be the green watch too...
Crisp is the term I think of with the looks.
I like the lume wipe you are doing with videos. 👍
Amazing looking watch. Love that differential in contrast of the gray and blue
An absolutely beautiful watch, just a bit too big and heavy for my taste and 6.5" wrist. Would love to see a 40mm version though.
That’s a stunner. A bit outside of my comfort zone thought for price. Although I think it’s well worth the price though. Thanks for showing it to us.
Amazing watch. Love Venice. Love your videos too. Another one smashed out of the park. Hope I win this watch too.
Very beautiful watch indeed
The bevels on the lume pip looks like a render it's so crisp
I'm in love. Very nice indeed. A tad too pricey though. But so well executed and tungsten as well.
Stunning 😊
The Ultrablack would be very interesting to seec as would the basic redentore 40 (in red ;)
Beautiful watch!
Your Italian are top nots (or is it noch, or nauch, or nauts, or...)
EDIT: notch.... 😋😂
The Aventurine version is also stellar 😉
Beautiful watches! How do you know if you need to buy the extra link at the time of buying though? My experience has been that you only know how many links you need for a good fit once the watch is at hand...
'tis beautiful. Looking at their line up I can't help to look up Vacheron though
whenever i see an Italian name for watches, Fillippo Loretti comes to mind…scary……
Or Spaghetti Scameti!
The Amazonite dial one is coming tomorrow, and it will literally cancel the blu dial one!
Why on earth put a butterfly clasp on any watch, let alone a diver. Charging extra for a half link is outrageous. Looks similar to my Nodus Contrail
Something looks slightly off with the 12 ‘o’clock index, and I can’t put my finger on what. Oh, and you forgot the lume shot… again! 😉
It’s fantastic 👌🏻👌🏻
Beautiful watch! It is off-putting and a serious marketing mistake to omit a half-link. To be blunt, it's a stupid move on their part. You may quote me.
Beautiful.
It's a nice looking watch with classic proportions. But it's not for me because It has too many polished surfaces on the lugs and the bracelet.
At the beginning of the video I was thinking,"looks like all dress divers." At the end, I may go need to go look, I like when they are heavy.
Hi Gary, nice looking watch but I'm not personally keen on a screwed down case back or butterfly clasp.
Just a small point, the z in "Venezianico" should probably be pronounced hard like the z in "grazie" 😉
They have a 40mm and 36mm now in the black. The proportions on the 36mm looked better but I don't usually go below 38mm so I got the 40mm
i got the 36mm on the way. looking at few reviews the 40 wears pretty big, so i opted for the smaller.
The dual indices at 12 o'clock seem to not be straight.
The bezel marking finishing seem to be quite messy. Are the markings sides chipped in the close ups?
The brushing on the bracelet doesn't seem very good. San Martin comparison looks better.
I thought I was just being overly fussy when looking at the bezel edges and put the finishing down to working with tungsten.
I don’t like the polished case against the outer bracelet brushing either.
Something looks slightly off with the 12 ‘o’clock index, and I can’t put my finger on what.
A mugs’ eyeful.
Looks spectacular. The Sw200 is a big plus point. Considering the price I would get the extra link. The only thing that would put me off is the screwed down back, its a bit like trying to re-invent the wheel and coming up with something not quite round.
For some reason that tungsten reminds me of the surface of a lake at night.
Nice video for a nice watch.
Pronounce it “veneziAAHnico”.
Extra points if you pronounce the z as ‘ts’:
“venetsy AAHnico”
A slightly bigger watch with tungsten at 163g is a good weight.
A half link should be standard preferably 2, charging that much for something that should be included is bad.
When i heard about the bracelet i instantly backed out of their website 😅
I can't stand the watch moving around and I know I'd be in-between links
Did you mention the price?
I put up a screen shot of the listing with the price on it…probably wasn’t obvious enough tbh
One word - Oris
I don’t see the link to the unboxing? Is it just me?
OMG, I just spit my drink, what the hell was that pronunciation of Venezianico? 😂
Let's see an Italian pronounce "dreadnought" then 😂
It's a nice looking watch, but not including that half link is kinda stingy...
I don’t know I’m not convinced. These guys seem to want a lot of money for these watches. I would compare them to Zelos and what they’re offering. Unusual Dials. Unique materials original designs.zelos has been around the block and we know them and they’ve done some really incredible stuff over the years. These guys are sort of new. We haven’t heard of them and they want more money for watches that aren’t limited edition like the Zelos. I think these guys got to get more realistic on price. And charging for the links is stupid.
No link to the watch brand in video?
Added it, thanks
@@ilikewatches you rock, TYVM
Pay extra for a link., well it is an Italian brand after all 😅😅
I think I'd rather have a Signum.
Nice watch but charging for half links if the watch doesn't fit you is lame...no thanks.
It is a very nice looking watch but it's not for me. There are too many highly polished surfaces for my taste. Don't like bracelets with polished center links. I like dive watches to look like tool watches not dress watches.
It's nice, looks like an ORIS, obviously good quality, but not different enough to excite me over other available watches. At least its sized correctly ... none of this 38mm bollocks!
Different sized watches just suit different sized wrists. No need for criticism of any size, large or small.
oh, is it made in Venice (a city i love), no.. it's 'inspired' by Venice and made in china. Oh, that will be that then.
It looks nice, but that name, this spaghetti is made from chow fun. Its alot of money but not any better than a Zelos
I ordered one then cancelled because of the butterfly clasp.Making this watch with butterfly clasp is really a waste of very beautiful design.
Dovresti allenarti sulla pronuncia.. io che sono Italiano non ho compreso la parola "Venezianico", prima il marchio si chiamava "Meccaniche Veneziane" e da allora stanno lavorando molto bene nei nuovi orologi.
Thirty bucks extra for a half link that should have been 'part of the package' is a deal breaker for me. If the designer opts for a butterfly clasp, it's rather unfriendly to make the negatives of that choice the buyers problem.
I love tungsten though, it is ridiculously hard and scratch resistant. Therefore it's probably also quite expensive to produce anything from it. And yes it is heavy but not as heavy as platinum (or iridium or osmium but as far as I know those aren't used in watches).
Considering your leading with these exotic materials, I feel it is worth pointing out that where this watch is concerned that I am not sure what tungsten brings to the table exactly on a bezel (as opposed to a rotor for example). They recently announced the Amazonite dial watch with a back story that displays complete lack of research into the materials used, because I'm confident that amazonite has nothing to do with Mesoamerica. Even more, amazonite isn't even geographically related to the South American amazon. So, to put Aztec motifs on the baseback and talk about different Mesoamerican cultures who did not use the stone seems like a particularly poor case of uninfkrmed marketing waffle. I'm interested in alternative materials, but make an approoraite case for their use (may simoky be aesthetic).
I do think this is on the expensive side for what it offers among peers, and paying extra for the halflink feels slightly insulting at that price. I do have to say thay I really like the style of Venezianico bracelets. Their bracelets simply look impressive and seem yo fit their watches well. I do find the side case verticsl rise on this diver as well as their dressier watches tends to be too tall.
On hardness scale (and so on scratch resistance), tungsten is between ceramic and sapphire, but it's more shatter resistant than both.
