I would not trust those hooks at all. Check if the loop is at least welded. I think the front hooks rating is a secure pull rating with a very higher hit rating for a kinetic rope. The small hook you order will probably snap-deform with 1 pound more than their rating. Also, if you want something to snap if you go over the limits, don't make it metal! A soft shakel alone can do terrible damages, but it's noting compare to metal parts.
A length of rectangular tubing makes a fine bumper and is tougher than a factory one. Big Bird is going to love you for all the work you're doing to her, hope Justine isn't jealous.

@SmokinMonkeyOG what yr did you say that BIRD 🐦 IS? IF U DONT MIND, I have a really good idea what your looking for I have a solid steel bumper front and rear on both of my Toyotas. So I'll see what can do 2 help you for a decent price.

Big Bird is turning into Super Bird, I love it! Also, please tell me that you are using gravel guard on the back side of all of the new pieces that you are welding on that you won't be able to coat or treat once installed? I would hate for all of that hard work to be ruined with more rust in a year or two. 😮 I'm looking forward to the next video. Good luck!

Nope, those tow hooks are going to bend. You should weld them on I’ve tried those and they bent, they work if welded 👍
I will be welding them on for sure not to worry and the loop is fully welded as well

i have a rear bumper, you pay for shipping it's yours. gonna scrap it . I'm in centennial Colorado . I'll throw in a rear hitch mount .
