I had the pleasure to meet Yee in 2015 in the european junior cup in hungary. I was then competing for spain as a junior, trainning in Roberto sanchez mantecon trainning group in Alicante. It was my first international junior competition. I will never forget that i came 2nd last out of the water. The last was yee. We both manage to do relays in the bike until we catch the first group, and we both also finally manage to qualify for the final, that was takinf place the next day, where the 30 best of 130 competitors where gonna fight for the title. Well the day of the final another adventure occur to me along with him. But this wasnt so pleasent. We both crash with the bike in the bike circuit, frustating all of our chances of doing a good performance. That weekend i had a unique experience with yee. How i know back then that he was going to be one of the best in the world? Is just incredible. Amazing video. Thanks so much.
You can not really take Farah's times seriously, and his titles, esp after years working with the doping coach Salazar, Farah was a nobody until the magic age of 27 (Indurain, Froome etc) where nearly rans became thoroughbreds...also triathlon has been esp good at hiding doping over the years, in the last 6 occasions one if not more of the Olympic triathlon winners were suspicious...just ask Nicola Spirig she'll be able to tell you how she did it, or not?
yee would never be able to dominate the triathlon circuit because he will never be able to swim as fast as other like Luis, and it is in the water where you lose a triathlon

Just won the gold - what a legend
Watched him winning Leeds triathlon a few weeks ago
Epic stuff 👍
Congratulations Alex 👏🏻🥇🇬🇧👍🏻💪🏻
Can anyone tell me what is the best run time for pro men at the Olympic distance triathlon?
Soon to be blitzed
Nice video
Imagine the day he will get on the Full IM distance 😅
He will suit short course in his whole career I think
if u run a short distance like that u need to be a really fast athlete. everybody can run a full distance but not an ITU
tell that to Kristian Blummenfelt hahahahah@@mariendelrio8388
Richard Murray just ran 28 min for 10k on the road
Thats still slower than Yees best time. And it was done at Altitude
I think he could give Mo Farah and Andy Butchart a run for their money…

"Toilet Bay"
Luis attacked him with all he had in the mixed relay, and Yee blew him away. Want to reconsider this?
@@davidb5173 luis was not in a good shape, he would have won easily if he was like in 2020 (when he won all the races where he participated)
