Same issue on all 4 doors on my 05. Bought some on eBay. They even have a metal backing plate for added strength! Hope to tackle this job soon. Thanks for the vid.
Wow.....thank you for sharing. I also have the same issue. All 4 of my handles are broken - one way or the other for my beautiful 2007 Grand Cherokee Laredo 4.7L......this is ridiculous
I have the same issue with my 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee! Jeep corporate will not stand behind their product. They advised me to file a complaint with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, which I did, as they said they will not do a voluntary recall. They will only do a recall if told to do one by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. So please file a complaint and hopefully they will respond.

Sameeeee 05 ordered new ones just got em today!
I used 10-32 x 1/2 in pan head combo screws from Home Depot to bolt in the new handle

Using this as reference for when some new handles come in for my own WK.. The plastic used for these door handles is hilariously cheap.

I got mine from amazon and it did not come with screws but luckily had some small screws with washers that fit just right . Thanks for this video

What kind of screw did you use?
They are pioneer car radio screws. Any car audio shop should have them or just bet any screws 1/4 inch long no tip
