      Heath Ledger played a more calm and calculated Joker that wanted to bring down Gotham into anarchy. Joaquin Phoenix played a mentally ill Joker that was hurt and turned down by society. While it's debatable who's a better Joker (I'm leaning towards Phoenix's Joker), I'd say that Joaquin Phoenix is a better actor.

      Joker 2 is amazing bro you don’t get it dude. He’s not the joker he’s Arthur, it’s just some reality he lives inside of his head because he has mental issues and isn’t okay. Also the reason for the musical part of joker 2 is because if you notice he’s always dancing and always pointing out music in the movie. Like when he goes on the Murray show he dances and when he talks to his mom I believe he talks about the Sinatra song at the end of each Murray episode. You have to digest the movie as a whole and connect each part of the movies together

He was in control and no longer had to grovel under the society that failed him. The people who try to control him don’t even deserve to hear his joke. It’s the only time he had given himself some value.

And in first encounter Joker had good “relationship”with Bruce, he wanted to make him laugh. Joker is not laughing because he is happy but because he is sad and want to cry. Yes he is happy because Wayne family is dead he hate them but not a Bruce. Or maybe he is happy because he is now orphan like him.

      No I believe the joke is based in joker's origins of being multiple choice and how the director is saying that we would sympathize with joker and this could just be a fake out and having to explain the punchline is why someone wouldn't understand it. The common thing in general someone has to explain the joke you didn't understand what was being conveyed and said. Also that's the joke we constantly question the validity of joker's story devoting far too much time on it lowering are guard trying to figure out if is it's fact or fiction.

      KevinPlayz YT He's not saying in literal form. The person we "know" as Arthur was slowly fading away the whole movie. He's saying at that point, after the crash, he awakened fully as the Joker.

      For me, the moment he closed the door when he let Gary out was the birth of the Joker. When he kissed Gary's forehead and said to him that he's the only person who's been nice to him is our last glimpse of his humanity before he became the Joker.

    • @wrxhex
      @wrxhex 5 лет назад +4

      Thalidomide He was really close at that point, you can especially see it in how confident he is with the dancing, walking away from the subway after the cops are beat, coming out on Murraayyy. But I still don't think he was full on Joker till after the crash. We get a glimpse of Joker when he's waiting behind the curtain to come out on Murray and is staring at the tv when Murray's making fun of his clip again. And obviously the breakin point is before he kills Murray with the voice crack and how he's trembling telling Murray he's awful. But even when he's getting taken away in the cop car, I think he still had some Arthur left in him cause of how he finally felt recognition from everyone rioting from what he did. I reallllly hope they do a sequel, I wanna see more of Joaquin as full on Joker.

      he probably heard or read that thomas wayne and his wife were shot dead by someone wearing a clown mask during a riot, thomas is famous and was running for mayor, his death would be in the news for sure, and the fact that only bruce survived would probably be too, so joker just put 2 and 2 together and realized not only the man he hated so much died because of him, he also ruined bruce's life

    Did you ever think about why the psychologist was not mentioned at all at the end of the first film when Arthur had completely become the Joker and killed the psychologist for no reason? Does it make sense for the second film to humiliate him or for Arthur to be depressed again, especially when he created Batman in the first film and laughed wholeheartedly without a nervous breakdown?
    And the social worker asks him to tell a joke, but Arthur just laughs at the joke in his mind. Does anyone dare to kill the Joker? Arthur has reached the evolution of the Joker.
    The Arkham in the first film is completely different from the second.
    Unless Arthur was transferred to Arkham Asylum after the murders he committed, and after a while, the psychologist meets with him in a room, asking Arthur to tell his joke.
    In fact, Arthur was imagining the entire second film in detail, including his falling in love, and how ridiculous the end of his life could be, and he kept laughing. Then, after...........
