Emily wasn’t wrong about Friday being the only nutritious meal Rory has. I love Lorelei but she had the diet of a teenager; take-away food every night. When Dean brought a salad into their home all hell nearly broke loose. 😂
This was such a sweet moment omg I love it when Rory bonds with her grandparents. She was always meant to be part of their world. Unfortunately, Lorelai wasn’t interested in that world, but that’s okay! At least Rory got to connect with them over the years, which also helped Lorelai get closer to her parents. It’s honestly quite endearing, and I really enjoy the lighthearted AND serious family moments the Gilmores have together. This was definitely a turning point in the series between Rory, Emily, and Richard :)
this is why I love this series. Theres just many wit and heart in even the most mundane of scenes. why they had to choke it up and ruin in the later seasons is beyond me.
Later seasons were extremely boring. But they always gotta milk the story for unnecessary drama nobody asked for. She should have married Logan and end of story. He's got everything, looks, brains, money and he loves her.
I’ve always struggled to accept how Rory turned out. But it is so real. You can pour all your best resources, hopes and dreams into a child, but the result might not always be how you imagined. The ending left me with a hollow feeling.
Its really amazing that this world is the world we all want to be in and Lorelai turned her back on it and expected her daughter to do the same.A dream for everyone!
Loralai didn’t want to live not knowing how to cook. She wanted to truly live. To raise her daughter herself, not with a nanny, chef, maids, etc. She wanted to dance in the kitchen, to be there when her Rori was sick and experience life first hand. The rich and non rich are worlds apart in how they live.
@@raecheer Right and there was the running joke of first Max and then Luke of how she didn't know the first thing of cooking or how to even use her own stove.
Um yeah no I doubt Emily and Richard would have appreciated a frozen pizza after a lifetime of homecooked food. Frozen pizza is FOUL. I hated it as a kid and we had a processed food diet. My kid who eat mostly scratch cooking won't even touch it. Even the smell revolts them.
Emily was busy. She had many social obligations, she had a child. Having someone to help her with things like cooking and cleaning are expected when you're a socialite.
Emily was raised in a time where she would have had gone to college. I believe she said Smith. Though Smith is a wonderful school they weren't a cooking school. Yes they offered homemaking classes. That doesn't mean that she was prepared enough to meet the demands of providing meals and household services. I think the true point you're making is a sexist one. You assume that nothing should be more important to Emily than being a cook and a maid to Richard and Lorelei. Never mind how much money she's raised for charities over the years. I imagine she's keeping several people employed, not including the cook and the maid and their gardener. I know you don't think Richard cleans gutters. So yeah she wasn't a housewife. And there is nothing wrong with if she choose to be a housewife. She filled her life with things that she felt fulfilled her at the time.
"Hey Grandma, what are the odds of you knowing where a cookie sheet would be?"
"I'd say very slim." 😂😂
Lol that was a good one
I love when Richard asks if Rory is malnourished and in need of a celebrity to raise money on her behalf.
It’s obvious to me where Lorelei gets her humour from

"Hmm, it's quite tasty. Emily, we should have this more often."
"WHAT?!" LOL
"The maid."
"Got one." 😂
“How is it?”
“NOT COLD” 😂😂😂😂
Oh to be rich and not know how to use a stove 😭
You really see where Lorelei and Rory get their wit from
Thinking the same thing 😆

There went the maid's lunch. I hope they replace it or let her have something else.
I'm sure they will. They can be snobs, but they're not thieves.

Man, if that's the kind of food you eat while imprisoned in Turkey, then sign me up for being arrested in that country.😅😂
Richard eating pizza with a fork. How typical! 😂
I would laugh but nowadays I eat it with a fork as well.
My dad ate pizza with a fork but he grew up attending a strict catholic school where they made the students eat pizza with utensils
"That's food you eat at a carnival. Or a Turkish prison."
I’ve always struggled to accept how Rory turned out.

miss this Rory.

I love Richie! 🤠
And frozen pizza with extra cheese and jalapenos.
I completely forgot that we see that dollhouse so early on in the series.
Well come on mr, we will figure it out well said emily gilmore !!!
Back when Rory had her original voice and not the high pitched baby voice she used later on!
Supposedly she had a cold so her sinuses caused the deep voice
Love that Emily agreed with Rory that the pizza tasted better without Foie Gras even tho she didn't even try the pizza yet😭
Rory pass me that cheese
i wonder why emily hates snow i love it
She hates it because she lives in Connecticut. Believe me, as a fellow Nutmegger, after the first 2 snowfalls of the year, you're over it pretty fast.
I loved Richard
A turkish prison
Turkish prison and carnival. Same thing
Why does Alexis Bledel look like a newborn infant? time is crazy..
At this point of my life, I don't really know how I feel about that show anymore. 😢
Two decades of life experience can seriously change some feelings.
The older I get the more I understand Emily.
Hahaha they r so rich they have a cook, a maid etc
well i love snow don't you?

When do we see Lorelei cook? Outside of Friday night dinners anytime we see Lorelei and Rory eat is either takeout or junk food
@@raecheer Right and there was the running joke of first Max and then Luke of how she didn't know the first thing of cooking or how to even use her own stove.
I don't think Lorelai can really cook barring warming stuff up, TV dinners, etc.
I mean at least Lor could make a frozen pizza. Emily couldn't even turn on the oven lol
@@raecheer She can at least use an oven. Unlike her mom.
Do the rich people really really have no idea about frozen pizza? Or is it only for the show?
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Why can't they cook their own food?
They're old money rich and so they never learned how to because they have always had a cook.
It depends on the frozen pizza. The brand. Some are better than others.
It’s a tv show, Richard and Emily liked whatever the writers said they liked 😂
Emily Gilmore needs to take some cooking classes and to work around her house like a normal housewife.

She wasn't a housewife though

why? no need
People really enjoy this corny shit??🤨🤣
Says the guy with a learn to shuffle playlist 🤣
