the plot is similar to pizza tower. The hero finds out that some dude in a big tower is going to/ is doing something that the hero doesnt like so the hero climbs the big tower to defeat the bad guy and stop whatever he is doing.

There is the same thing stopping them as with every other product: if it's too expensive, not enough people will buy it and you'll have a bunch of wasted products with no profit.

Why is every Mario hack a kaizo game these days? Do people just not like traditional Mario gameplay anymore?
I'd have to guess that the people who can make hacks want to make kaizo hacks. I don't think they sell these things so each one is probably a labor of love and everyone else can either take it or leave it.
@@jdotozyeah, if you’re into Mario so much that you want to put in the effort of making a hack, you are probably very good at the game and want something challenging. your main audience is also other Mario hackers, so there’s a tendency towards that.
