This week we only went to Aldi…I spent just over £66 :) Not bad at all. But I do need to get to the butcher and pick up a couple of things.

Good evening folks! I hope I wand you all well on this warm Saturday evening! Thank you for stopping by ☺👍
Hello !!! I love this part of my Saturday mornings. I go out and do the ranch chores, do a little mowing, fill a few water troughs and then come inside, make a cup of coffee and look to see if your program’s on yet. Funny how ‘normal’ and ‘simple’ and ‘lovely’ it is to go shopping with you. I can’t really figure out the personal reward for me, but I do so love this time with you and this community. I have a busy life and plenty of people that I love ... I’m a rancher and farmer and a doctor and a published novelist ... so I am busy. But I always have time to see ‘what we got from the store’ each Saturday. Love from Colorado USA. And sending love and special wishes for everyone in this wonderful community.

@@LindaC616 I’m on the prairie in Colorado. Snow’s been gone for a while now. Mostly just a rainstorm two or three times a month during the spring. Where you at? I lived in Washington DC for 12 years while I worked in the Senate. I loved the weather out there... an the four distinct seasons. Out here, we mostly have two... winter and summer.
@KMcKee-qn6bo I'm in Rhody, on the coast. Our spring is brief, usually, although last year I don't think we broke 90 more than three or four days. Sadly, fall is not very glorious here, as we have so many trees from different parts of the world that they don't turn color all at once. There are a few gorgeous gingko trees that turn yellow before the other trees even think about turning. By the time the other trees turn, they're naked. And lots of elms from Japan and other countries, because the Estates have imported trees or trees were donated to one business or another. I am from the Midwest originally, so I miss the fall explosion. I have even driven inland sometimes up to Walden Pond, just to see fall colors. But I don't miss the winters at all. I only have to shovel snow maybe 3 days a year here, and that's in a rough year. Just 1 hour north, they're in the snow belt that hits Boston, so it's much worse.
I love seeing how different your Aldi is from our's (Oklahoma, U.S.), and your prices are so much more affordable!

That’s a very healthy looking trolley load this week, salads a plenty 🐰😉, your noses will be twitching soon!😁 Certainly seems like excellent value for the amount of products you got, really like the look of that cooked French Torchon Ham, have noticed you’ve bought it before, so assume that it’s good stuff. Another wee tip, if you buy the chive plants, you can plant them outdoors, either in the ground or in pots & they’re cut & come again herbs, & can survive our Scottish winters too. Just lift & divide every couple of years or collect the seeds from the purple flower heads & resow new plants for indoors in the winter.👩🏻🌾 Enjoy the rest of this lovely sunny ☀️ Saturday evening & I hope to catch you tomorrow for meals of the week, will try to be on time for a change😆! xx 👩🏻🍳🛒💕💞🩷

For a few years we had Fresh and Easy stores (Tesco.) I miss their Caprese and Greek salads, plus the store brand orange marmalade that wasn't sweet. U.S. brands are extremely sweet. Thanks for the videos!

Hi Jean! Nothing too exciting really...honest ☺ Usually just a couple of tomatoes about 1/4 watermelon..and some water and ice..sometimes a few strawberries. Or I also like a strawberry & banana one x

I don't think tomato smoothies sound disgusting at all. Here in the US, we have a drink called V8. Which is more or less the same thing.

Slimming World question: Why would they give food to the person who lost the most weight each week? Sounds counter-intuitive to me.
Like: Oh, you've lost the most!! Here's a bunch of food from those competing against you and may want you to fail. Hahahaha. See you next week, fatty!
If it were me, I would just give a $5 gift card or something. That's probably more than you spent on the rice. But then they could get anything. And it wouldn't have to be to a grocery store. You could get them a gas card or anything, really. Just my opinion on something I don't know much at all about....😂
