    Richen it up, fuel is cheap and with more fuel you can turn the boost up. Even though you won't be running "ideal" fuel settings, with boost you get more power if it runs rich because if it runs rich you cool the combustion process and can run more boost than you would be able to with "ideal" fuel settings.
    And get some good octane fuel, 94 is crap. Get a barrel of race fuel and mix it with 94 so you get about 98. In Norway if you put a small 190 horse kit on a sled you're told to run 98 or don't run it. You may also need some colder spark plugs with boost. Even with the richer fuel mix.
    Also, I assume the expansion chamber is meant for running boost? If you use boost you effectively need an expansion chamber meant for a bigger volume engine. Because after all, you're putting more air and fuel in the cylinders and that messes up the tune if its still the old exhaust that assumes a smaller amount of exhaust should be coming out.
    How long does the turbo last on these turbo builds? Considering to get a turbo 4 stroke one of these years but I don't like the idea of having to rebuild a turbo every 5k miles.
    PS: You should also consider expanding your cooling solution, the coolant from the radiators is the stuff that hits the domes so the temperature of the coolant when its gone through the radiators makes a big difference on whether or not you detonate or not.

    After we time traveled you had a different torque wrench! Get the old one back out!

  • @tcrwild8422
    @tcrwild8422 6 лет назад

    Yeah that torque wrench 🔧 I used one of those for years, once you get a clicker you will never use that again, problem with an older bar style like that is it’s always out of calibration or at least mine was

    don't turbo have altitude compensation to pull the same number of hp at elevation by running more boost?

    If you have ratchets that are getting stuck and now spinning freely use LPS 2. It is expensive but it is amazing. I build docks for a living and we use tools underwater everyday. WD40 is just whale oil and it is shit. LPS 2 is where it is at.

    hould replace the belt dive tenshion bolt with a shorter 1.. would make it alot easier to access it on the trail if you ever have to . hidden in behind the turbo is a pain in the but .. not an issue on a stock sled really

  • @ggordon4127
    @ggordon4127 6 лет назад

    Is that the right belt? I would like to see more space between the tensioner pulley and the drive pulley but what the heck maybe it works better this way.

      yes we are a small business and to pay people to enter several hundred thousand parts and update and add more every year gets expensive...and then we have to charge the customer more money which we dont want to do.

    If you only get 250 miles per belt and your gearing it up ur gonna get less miles yet as will have more torque on belt

    • @PowerModzOfficial
      @PowerModzOfficial  6 лет назад

      250 on drive belt not rhe quick drive belt...thats a clutching issue

      @@PowerModzOfficial I knew you were talking drive belt also gonna cause more torque higher your geared get rid of the straight 40 degree helix

    • @truemanrep3267
      @truemanrep3267 6 лет назад

      actually, need more side pressure on the belt. as the engine makes more torque more side clamping force is needed. combination of higher spring pressure and weights. dragonfly weights are amazing.
