Bowser’s Inside Story is my favorite of the RPGs. It’s also the very first Mario game I ever bought. The idea of playing as an awesome and huge fire breathing dragon/turtle got me VERY interested. I’ve been a huge fan of the franchise ever since.
AGREED I really did enjoy that game and replayed it recently. I think the new mechanics it brought paved the way for Bowsers Inside Story to be a great successor, and I don't think it gets credit for that enough

Excellent as the Mario + Rabbids crossover Duology (currently) is, they don’t really count in my eyes since there’s a clear difference between “strategy” and “role-playing” if you ask me.
The only correct answer is Super Paper Mario. Yes, I'm gonna be that guy. The rest can come back once they've canonised Mario dying, genocide, Luigi becoming the Antichrist, and Peach and Bowser's wedding causing the destruction of all dimensions. Plus, the villains in this game are second to none. Especially Count Bleck and his story with Timpani. Sticker Star being last should surprise nobody

The Origami King gets a bad wrap, it’s great visually, has darker under tones and is pretty funny; it’s no Thousand Year Door, but is really solid otherwise. What killed it was that dang battle wheel.
Paper Mario Origami King is my favourite Super Mario Rpg game, its so beautiful But i like color splash and sticker Star too and i Want try Super Paper Mario on wii. Dream team Bros and Bowser inside story are My fav Mario and Luigi games. PS that video was truly awesome and list IS good. 😍
super paper mario being only number 8 is a crime….by far hands down THE best story in any of the RPG games and the gameplay is by far the best compared to any of these newer titles

Mario movie definitely outperformed the sonic one economically However for me really both movies were good, it's just that I'm a mario fan so I liked the mario movie more

My favorite Super Mario rpg games are paper Mario 64, thousand year door, Mario rpg legend of the seven stars, bowsers inside story, and super paper Mario. I like to play them when I get bored
As much as we all want ttyd to come to switch, I seriously don’t think it’ll ever happen. To re-educate the new Nintendo audience on this game is to also kill any chance of paper Mario’s modern style from selling well again
- Out of all these games, I would definitely have Mario RPG, TTYD, and Superstar Saga on repeat! - I literally do not get the hype of The Rabbids. Why this collab had to happen I'll never know. - Sometimes Nintendo irks me when they don't listen to the fans when it comes to wanting a Paper Mario Game that's reminiscent of the 1st 2 games instead of the BS they kept pushing out (Stickerstar, Color Splash, OK) - I wish to this day that Squareenix and Nintendo can collab again to give us another Mario RPG. Why they won't do it sends me!
After TTYD was such a success, it makes me wonder why they haven’t made another similar to it. It seems Paper Mario keeps getting further and further away from what made the series so great. My top picks are TTYD and SMRPG. Not a fan of the Mario and Luigi games, surprised Inside Story made the top spot.

I actually have cleaned them battle on the switch, but I have yet to beat It. I haven't even bought the DLC yet. Also, is it wrong that I actually like Sticker Star? I'm saying this as a collector of stickers myself.
As a Wii game, Super Paper Mario tried to play it safe for casual players by trading battle for platforming. That may have been a deterrent, but it was a Mario story with the most at stake, as well as the last of the GOOD Paper Marios. Nintendo's odds in making a new Paper Mario like the Clasic trilogy all hinge on Miamoto San, weather he A. retires or B. allows leeway for new original characters. On the other hand, Paper Mario clones are everywhere. Best one I've played being Bug Fables: the Everlasting Sappling. Now we need Mario & Luigi clones! In fact, with so many indie devs steapping up to the plate, anyone suspicious how this is another excuse for Nintendo to not revive such franchises?

I don't think it will, they would have to admit that thats what the fans want first
@zacharycorona1382 maybe he does....and maybe he works at a taco bell 😶🌫️
There needs to be a Paper Mario All Stars with ports of the original Paper Mario, TTYD, and Super Paper Mario.
That’s what I once said. (With remastered graphics… and without a limited release unlike 3D All-Stars in 2020)
Bowser’s Inside Story is my favorite of the RPGs. It’s also the very first Mario game I ever bought. The idea of playing as an awesome and huge fire breathing dragon/turtle got me VERY interested. I’ve been a huge fan of the franchise ever since.
Dream Team is actually my favorite installment in the Mario and Luigi series. It has the best atmosphere, theme, and music in the franchise imo.
I totally agree
W opinion
True, but SS and BIS are still better.
Same bro!!
W Dream Team, but Bowser’s Inside Story will always be my favorite of the series. Dream Team brings out the best in Luigi!
I’m gonna be that guy, I LOVED Mario & Luigi partners in time. I was really annoyed that they skipped a remake after remaking super star saga.
I'll be honest I don't think it deserves to be this low on the list. 😕
AGREED I really did enjoy that game and replayed it recently. I think the new mechanics it brought paved the way for Bowsers Inside Story to be a great successor, and I don't think it gets credit for that enough
Partners in time is a C- for me it’s mid I agree tbh
I myself put it just above paper jam
I agree it's so underrated in every way
Super Paper Mario is my absolute favorite one. Switching between 2D and 3D was just amazingly fun. Origami King is very underrated.
People sleep on Origami King... I low-key loved it
The story is good, its just that the puzzle ring gimmick combat just doesn’t do it for most people.
Super Mario Rpg, Paper Mario and Paper Mario TTYD are legendary. I don’t think Nintendo will ever make another Mario rpg that tops them.
Yep those are my top 3 in the same order as well
Even then Nintendo didn't make Super Mario RPG.
Also Bowser's Inside Story
@@Chelaxim nintendo didn't make any of the mario RPGs. your point?
I’m just glad that they’re remaking Super Mario RPG and Paper Mario TTYD, I hope they also remake the original Paper Mario as well 🥲
Bowser’s inside story is such a classic. I love it and I can’t believe it was number one I’m so happy.
Superstar saga is my favorite, I just love the variety of characters and enemies, bowsers inside story is a close second though
Same but I do like BIS and TTYD though, it’s tight between these 3

Respect your opinion, but it always irks me when TTYD isn’t #1. It’s not just my favorite RPG or even Mario game. It’s my favorite game ever
This list is just the proof we need to get that TTYD remaster or a Super Mario RPG remake
A remake of Super Mario RPG would make the new generations meet Mallow and Geno!!

Rating Partners in time and Dream Team so low is a crime!
Super Mario RPG needs to come out on Switch Online!!! One of the best SNES games of all time!!!

Bowser's Inside Story is an amazing game, but no way in hell is it better than TTYD
I think their pretty much even, also superstar saga as the remake is brilliant(that games underrated)
tbhi like bowsers inside story’s overwolrd gameplay way more than ttyd
