@@fookinmatei Steam is a 32bit application, and modern Linux distros are 64bit operating systems completely. So, you just need to add 32bit architecture package support to DPKG so it can download the 32bit libraries that Steam needs. dpkg --add-architecture i386 Then try reinstalling steam.
