There were far faster and more technical bands by the time they appeared. It's the way they played that made it interesting. They aren't that underrated. Anyone with more than a passive interest knows this band well

I've noticed this quite iften that guys will get hyped too much over a certain band and will love everything they release even if its pure shit. I never expected Sadus to go down the overproduced, clicky sound. Overkill, Testament, Death Angel, Razor...the list with victims is long unfortunately. I'm not sure if most have lost their minds, but everytime when i hear something that almost sounds like a pop i wonder how did the bands come to the conclusion that sounding ultra clean, artifical, weak is a good thing?
As much as I obviously miss Steve in the band, I want to congratulate and thank Darren and Jon for doing this, still an incredible album. We would love to see the 3 again in Sadus, if it's not possible I hope they get a talented bassist for live shows and the next album

"Swallowed in black" was one of the most underrated Longplayer of the golden TrashMetal-years...just like the band itself.
