***** Rockman and Forte 2 from Wonderswan?! Far out! That would be interesting to see. BTW, where can I find download links for Rockman 7 and Rockman 8 FC versions? Or are those in the descriptions of the videos?
Why even bother including Duo if he's only going to appear in the ending? They should've at least added a cutscene after the fourth Robot Master kill to introduce him and his role in the plot.
It's because they were emulating the same style from Rock Man 1-6, which means they couldn't include everything such as the intro stage and the Duo boss fight because of limitations.
@@Jarock316 There's nothing about the intro stage that they couldn't do on NES. They just chose not to, because the original 6 didn't have intro stages. Which, I agree, is lame.
...How the heck would X7 even work? I mean, what with the 3D segments and all, I'd imagine it would be one of the hardest things in the world without completely redesigning the game from scratch. I mean, granted, that isn't a bad thing. Considering X7 is such a terrible game, I feel like completely reworking the game in any capacity would be a huge improvement over what we have now. However, it still stands that it would certainly be tricky to do. At least with X8, the whole game is played in 2.5D, which would make it much easier to work off of.
Everyone is praising this version just because of the graphics, which is pretty stupid, I loved MM8, was difficult to me since it was the first MM game I played and the snowboard parts were difficult... but still a good game. And you can see how many complains there are just because of the graphics because they decided to make MM9 in a nes style, and I guess it was such a success that MM10 is the same thing, I can't believe how some people say MM8 is bad because of the graphics...
Agree. I hate that they downgraded Megaman in MM9 and 10. I only recently got the chance to play 8,9,10 via Anniversary collection 2 on Steam and I enjoyed MM8 the most due to great controls (Why I can't shoot mega buster and the special weapon at the same time in the later games? This was so awesome!), robot masters and most of the levels (I only can't stand Astro Man's level). Most of the weapons were fun to use too (Ice Blade is my personal favourite weapon from MM8, but Flash Bomb, Homing Sniper, Astro Crush and Thunder Claw were fun to use as well). MM9 have rly stupid level desing, full of spikes, cheap jumps (Jewel Man's platforms before miniboss and that one with hole in the middle, jumps in Hornet Man stage and that stupid jump in water section in Wily 2), but the songs, robot masters and weapons were among the best in the series. I had the best time playing Proto Man in 9. Still a good game, but the 1st Megaman run though it was so horrible for me.
@@Arko777777 Same here. I thought 9 and 10 were great, but I was disappointed that the slide and mega buster were removed. I get that they wanted to throw it back to MM2 style but I think that was throwing it back a little too far. Thankfully both the slide and mega buster are back in MM11 :)

It was made to give a "retro feel" of early Megaman games (from 1 to 6). Intro stage, intermediate stage, and splitting selectable bosses into tiers, were introduced in newer generation (from Megaman 7 if I'm correct), which would be unfitting for classic setting. (Idea taken from Megaman 9 & 10).
