I wish our doll community in the US was as nice. There is a lot of bullying and actually not allowing certain people to go to doll shows. It is nuts. I see my baby there, I am glad no one bought her! She should arrive next week, for some reason the package came through Los Angeles, California instead of New York. She just got out of customs, but she is on the other side of the country.

Mee too! I totally wish we had doll shows like this! More inclusive, more low key, not snobby! I've never actually gotten to go to a doll show here in the US but I've watched several and heard awful stories of how people were treated and even made to leave because they supported people who had "replica" kits. It's honestly made me extra nervous if I ever did get the chance to go to one I'm afraid my already anxious mind would really go into hyper drive! If anyone knows of a doll show more like this (especially in Texas) please let me know. Because I would luv to go to one someday but I definitely want it to be more like this one was!! Luv u Shell 🐚
Hmmm, our reborn shows don’t support replica kits either, as in you can’t sell them. I don’t think they mind if you bring them in but you definitely can’t sell them.
@@ShellBellsChannel oh no I understand that completely, that they wouldn't want people to sell them there or possibly even bring one in with u (as a guest) to the show. But there were people who were kicked out of a "Dolls of the World" show in 2023 just because they had showed a positive opinion for subscribers to their channels who own "replicas". I just luved the laid back, awesome, not cliquey or "not snobby, exclusive" vibe of the show u shared!

I get not allowing sellers to sell replicas at the shows but it’s a little strict to me when they won’t let someone take one in with them. I mean, someone with anxiety issues may want to go and take their favorite doll and it just might so happen that their favorite doll is a replica and they can’t really control that/change that. I myself have a favorite doll that I have no idea if he’s “real” or a replica exactly. I don’t think he’s the favorite I would take for my anxiety issues since I have a “real” one that is more my top favorite for that but still. I think not allowing the sale of them at the shows is okay but I wouldn’t turn a guest away just because they brought one or because they expressed sympathy/support for people who have “fakes”. The fact that someone loves that doll matters more than where it came from, I think.

It was a lot quieter then last year but was nice to chat to everyone
Also Shell could u do a video sometime explaining the differences in all the real care generations and what each can do and what u need to have for each please? I would luv to have one of your hybrids but I may have to just settle for trying to make my own but in trying to find the pieces I don't know enough about them to know what generation I want or what all pieces I will need to find or even what each is capable of. Like I've noticed I believe Gen 4 is mostly referred to as a "cry box" and I think I've figured out that they just have a key u turn to stop them crying and don't have any of the sensors?? I think, Lol, HELP, please!
I do have videos on each baby I have owned and what they do, perhaps I will need to make a quick summary with all the info in them.

Since there have been more reborn doll shows around I have been attending them more then doll shows as I have not felt as welcome by some of the vendors at some of the doll shows. I feel much happier attending reborn doll shows & there’s more for me to look at in my opinion aswell 🥰
