Muse has quite a few songs with a slow and smooth intro which later starts to build up with crescendos and culminates in this big climax, which usually includes Matt's falsetto. Those are my favorite type of Muse songs. I could not make out the name of your favorite band lol Which was it?
Survival was the official UK Olympic Team's song during the 2012 Games when they came to London. I would advise watching them perform this during the closing ceremony.

To make things a little more interesting you could try out some of the B Sides. Honestly, a lot of them are so good they could easily be album tracks. Try Fury, Shrinking Universe, Eternally Missed and Dead Star / In Your World (they were released as singles but weren't on an album. Also 2 of my fave tracks, Showbiz and Citizen Erased.
