    Tajiks also have ancient Persian ancestry hence why they speak Persian. There was a mass migration of ancient Iranian Persians into central asia after the fall of the Sassanids.

    • @khorasan123456
      @khorasan123456  Год назад +9

      Such migration is not confirmed by any archaeological finds. It's only plausible to talk about a small group of people who didn't affect the gene pool of the natives

      @@khorasan123456 Correct, but culturally the iranian samanian empire and other persian religions (zoroastrism, nestorianism, manichaeism) had a lasting influence on Central Asia. In any case, great video thank you!!

      @lambert801 Год назад +2

      @@khorasan123456 Then why did the Soghdians adopt the Persian language?
      It's just like how the Turks migrated to Azerbaijan and Anatolia and Turkified the population there. The migrations didn't have a huge impact on the overall gene pool of those areas, but they were enough to culturally and linguistically Turkify the population. The same thing happened in Central Asia. The Persians fled from the Arabs in the west and came to settle in the east. In addition to these migrations, the new caliphal rulers stationed many Persian soldiers in those areas, which over time helped with the Persianization. The Samanids themselves were descendants of an old Parthian noble family who had long become Persianized.

      @@lambert801little kid, don't twist the information. First of all the samanids were not parthians but hephtalites based on their early coins, they just imitated the Persians and claimed their ancestry because it was a thing in the past, it's all written in modern history books.

    The Sogdian script fed the development of Mongol Passepa & Manchu used in Chinese Imperial decrees of the Yuan & Qing dynasties in later ages, but may also have fed the Silla era Korean script known as Silla-Sogd.

      tj now arabic caliphate attacked sasanids. They islamize them then they left or forced to be left there. İn Turkey , we call all iranian stuff as persian , in turkish fars. We name afghans , persians , tajiks and others as fars. We even call kurds as sunni fars. So the problem starts here. İf you check the history of jihad website , you will see islamization of Turks. Actually some scholars say there wasn't Turks there , they were sogdians who is slaughtered and islamized by arabs. İnteresting part is our islamic vocabulary is not persian , we call it fars but it's actually sogdian. Some of my family members looks very similar to some iranians but iranic iranians. Skull type , pigmentation. Even I myself look a bit pashtun with mediterranid effects.

      @@yaxshibala You do realize that ancient East Iranic genetic samples show already between 0-40% East Eurasian admixture. In modern Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan it was between 0-20% and in East Kazakhstan and Mongolia between 20-40%. Which is no surprise at all considering that they bordered East Eurasian tribes. Turkic speakers were originally from Altai and are represented by the Yakuts. Over time the Turks absorbed and mixed with Iranic tribes. This is why Karluk, Kimak and Gokturks had already as much West Eurasian DNA. What Turkic people did was bring extra around 10-20% East Eurasian admixture but the majority of the East Eurasian admixture found in Uzbeks, Tajiks and Turkmens predates the Turkic migration.
