Till,the main vocalist, is a pyrotechnician. It is technically complicated but doable to synchronize the firing of in fireworks with Till launching a flare.

In the cut you don't see there's the fireworks exiting the gun just going above the audience and simultaneously starting the first (red) flares on strings going to the back of the auditorium that you can see in the video. You can see that better in recent concert videos.

Du hast = you have while du hasst = you hate. They do sound the same, so it can be viewed as a play on words but they only sing hast in the song.
Rammstein are 6 members, they are together seems nearly 30 years. All members where grown up in the former DDR or East Germany.
They where founded after the German reunion.
Till Lindemann always sings German, exept a few sentences here and there.
They are probably the best live band there ever was, Till is also licenced pyrotechnician.
Their videos are masterpieces, as you just saw and the song texts are meaningful, controversial or they tell dark story.
Rammstein never explained and probably never will, explain any of their songs,as they literally said, that anyone should be able, to see what they want in their songs,so keep in mind, any explanation you will see, is not from the band.

Most badass and entertaining thing i have ever seen in my life! I literally teared up when the show ended, not kidding. Saw them in chicago sept 2022.
