Just had 4 days riding out in the Isle of Man with the lads from Monkey Dix Adventures. I was on my Super Cub, but can honestly say it was the most fun I’ve ever had on two wheels ! 37 125cc bikes, mostly Honda Monkey’s. It was like big a game of Mario Kart, I’m still grinning now 😁.
Excellent review. My wife bought a 2023 as her first bike and is absolutely loving it. I've ridden it a bunch of times myself and have been surprised both at how much I enjoy it, and by how many people notice it and want to talk to you about it. Even people who don't ride seem to take a shine to this thing.
Got my '22 Monkey last year and i love it to bits! I usually go hard on the gas and absolutley wring its neck. What a joy without breaking the law. I'm even going on an alpine tour this summer. Some recommendations on luggage: rear rack (Kitaco) + rear bag, saddle bags, which are connected underneath the seat (QBAG Saddle bag 01). The exhaust doesnt even get warm, the bags can rest on it. 👍 I only have two gripes with it. One are the tires, they feel kinda potatoe-y when you lean while riding at a sporty pace. Unfortunately you cannot replace them so easily because they come in weird dimensions, where there are no alternatives (130/80-12 rear). You'd have to get a 130/70-12 where there is plenty of choice. However that will force you to recalibrate the speedo and - if you live in the EU - have a lot of legal paper work on your hands. The second gripe is the power. I know its only a 125 cc, and the power is pretty good already, but more often than not i wish that honda had put in maybe 12-13 HP? Another addition: honda gave you wrong numbers for the fuel consumption. Its not 1.5L/100 mi but rather /100 km. In reality, when you ride sporty like me, you are looking at 2.5L/100 km, which is equally amazing. Cheers
Your timing is perfect, I sold my Monkey a year ago and regretted it almost immediately. So, I decided to get another one, which I am getting next week - can't wait. Once again, you are spot on with your review, and it was very enjoyable. Keep up the good work, have fun and ride safe.

Interesting tip about the bars, I'll have to try it next riding season. I'm only 6ft 1, and I have a bit of a problem with the sitting position, my knees start to hurt or get uncomfortable after 3 hours, and after a 6-hour riding day I feel like I've done something slightly wrong with my body. ;) I've been thinking of getting an adjustable rear suspension to raise the seat height a little, even half an inch could make it better.
Thanks for the review - it made me smile. My Dad still has an original one of these in his garage complete with Japanese number plate. It was given as a gift from a Japanese student who lived with us back in the mid 1960's - he used it as his regular transport before returning to Japan - I believe travelling as far as Worcester to Oxford! Honda have been faithful to the original colour scheme as well as the pattern on the seat! The original was much smaller, had no suspension, and the handle bars unscrewed and folded down so it could be put in the boot of a car. I believe it is 50cc , it has no clutch, with the heel toe arrangement for the gear change.
The Monkey reminds me very much of the Honda Z50 that I got for my birthday in 1979. I learned to ride on that bike, so it has a special place in my heart. I tried to talk my wife into a Monkey a couple of years ago as her first bike when she was learning to ride, alas to no avail. I’d still like to have one. Thanks for the review and for bringing back fond childhood memories 😎
Same here. Bought a used Z50 in 1983 as a young teen. First bike and loved it! Was great for a young rider who couldn’t drive a car yet. Felt much cooler than a moped and you could zip down trails in the woods too (was in Canada).
I just picked up my 2023 red Monkey today. I got lucky. I got on the waiting list on April 1st, and on April 27th I got the call that they had a red Monkey for me.The couple that were supposed to get this one backed out, and the next person in line wanted a yellow one, and since I didn't have a color preference, I got this one. I can't wait for the weather to warm up a little and get same seat time on this little bike.

My neighbour bought a 2020 model a few years back, with a 4 speed gearbox, and he's still very fond of it. He's a fairly tall man at about 6'2, and looks quite comical on the back of it, but he says it's one of only a few bikes that are comfortable for him due to back pain!

That's a couple of the great features on this little bike it has full LEDs there's a lot of full-size Adventure bikes that are still running old incandescent and the ABS is a good touch. It looks like a grown-up Honda mini 50cc that they used to have back in the 70s and 80s. They would be cool for a little run about in town or country on the farm for burning around and having fun.
Thank you. Great review. Looking forward to your review of the Grom. I also think it would be really great to get a Super Cub into the mix for the final review.
Hi, another brilliant video, just out of interest the HM on the winged badge that harks back to the Sixties stands for Honda Motor and not Honda Monkey, other than that another brilliant video.
Great review as always it’s a Motorcycle like the Mini was in the Auto industry 🙂 sweet looking but capable for around town and the Paddock for some fun rides.
Hi Andy , I’ve been waiting for you to test the monkey , it’s a class act , their faster than you think , I’m telling you ,do 150 -200 mile day on a mini bike and you’ll be hooked , I’ll see if you agree that the groms are only slightly the better road bike !!, my girlfriend and I have a couple of diavels and a couple of triumphs , street twin and rocket 3 , but it’s refreshing to ride the small bikes , groms , monkeybike and benelli tnts, , Last year we did a 250 mile trip in 1 day ( grom and monkeybike ) a total of 500 miles and squeezed in £14 in fuel in total for both bikes , 500 miles of fun for £14 it’s a bargain ,what’s not to like , you and mrs flyer on mini bikes 👍👍🏍🏍
It seems to have gone the way of most vehicles; 104 kg compared to the original at 58 kg! As I recall the original also had folding handlebars so you could lump it into a car boot , or your camper or even a boat. I think the tartan seat was the original colour.
Hi, I just finished the Video of the little Honda Dax that you did, and thought I would like to have 2 of those. But now seeing this one on the Monkey, I would have these. I like the small Enduro look, the Clutch and 5 Speed Gearbox. Thanks a Lot for making these Videos. Now I have a lot better idea of what’s out there. Waiting to see the Grom Video next.👍👍
I know a guy who loves them, he bought 3 new in the different colours. Can’t get my head round that but he can’t get his head round my ducati. He keeps offering for me to have a shot on one, maybe take him up the next time!
Great review tmf I bought one new in 23 same colour modded it full termignoni decat exhaust changed the chain and sprockets k&n filter took it on the dual carriage for 18 miles to my local bike dealer in Cornwall had it up to seventy so a bit more power nothing mind boggling but great fun I’m glad I got it cheap to run and insure any all the best.
I’m almost 62 now, when I get too old for my Ducati V4 streetfighter, I’ll still have my banana yellow monkey to ride up the beach front in Australia. Will never sell it. It’s a superb fun bike. I used to pay 20c to ride a monkey on the school oval in 1971. Anyone of this age can relate to it. Thanks for the great review. FYI, I’ve gotten it up to 110kph on the freeway.
That a bird of prey at 12.05 ? Great review, looking forward to the grom. Perhaps add the Suzuki 125 you have into the comparison. Full size (ish) 125 vs the 3 mini ones.
I think there's a demand for practical urban commuters, but the Monkey as well as the Dax seem a little too gimmicky to me. I'd rather go with a scooter. Anyway great show as always, thanks very much. 👍🏼😁
Hi, great little bike. I took my Honda Monkey from UK to Morocco (Merzouga) and back to UK. Zero issues and a lot of fun. Drove roads that Monkey shouldn’t be driving and all turned up ok. Had GS, Africa Twin, Tenere riders questioning why did they bought their bikes 🙂 when instead could had Monkey and lots of spare money for other trips. I would say if you ‘dream’ about adventures, but not a pro driver Monkey is a perfect bike. Stay safe and enjoy your adventures 🛵
Love the look of it, looks great fun if a few of you have them and I'm sure for an urban environment works really well. The over £4k price tag I think would put me off though! Great video.
I bought one a couple of years ago and grin like an idiot every time I ride it. Mines a four speed version, I'm not sure why Honda changed the motor it's performance seems identical to this version. The fuel figures should be taken with a pinch of salt but there's no denying it's very economical indeed it's costs nothing to go for a ride. I often ride mine around the back roads of Derbyshire on a summer evening exploring lanes you'd normally avoid on "normal" bike. There's no downside to owning one of these, I bought mine with very low miles in mint condition and its now worth more than I paid for it. Fair review as ever Andy 😊
I do love a 125 I’ve reviewed quiet a few over the last year. What puts me off about reviewing a monkey bike is I will want to buy one. So small and cool looking. I would definitely have room for it. But the wife would kill me if I come home with another bike. Such a dilemma.
HM stands for "Honda Motor". This particular logo was on Honda Motorcycles from 1968-1973. Only fitting they put it back on these bikes as they are the retro versions of bikes from that era.
Yes had one for a year and actually used it for the commute into London. I was disappointed with the quality to be honest along with the backup from the dealer, 18 months old and chrome going rusty etc. I wouldn’t mind it wasn’t exactly cheap for what it was either. Decent shocks a must for everyday use.
Brilliant review I’m thinking of getting one myself as I’ve got a van with a tent box on roof when I’m set up camp I’m stick if I won’t to leave the site monkey be perfect for than popping down the town or coast …😎👍🏻
Nice review Andy I've got the 2020 model in my garage love it though only got 600 miles on it at the moment. I believe the new model your on has 1 extra gear mines,4 speed. By the way the beep sound on key fob is for setting alarm built into the monkey. You forgot to mention when you turn key on the Speedo shows a cheeky monkey wink at you. I got 185 mpg with it. Great review as always bill near durham 👍👍
I have a 2023 banana yellow monkey. Whilst I never expected the bike to go 100mph , what I really appreciate is riding it in and around Brighton where i am based. It is nippy enough and handles the traffic like a star. The weight is so light that I feel like it can be flicked about with no effort at all. Im just shy of 6ft and 90kg and honestly the suspension and riding position is ideal. I put a little top box on the back so i could carry a decent bike lock and chain and sadly it does seem to cut into my riding position. Gave it a good razz down the a23 the other day and behind a truck I hit 70mph (downhill i guess). But on the b roads it handles a treat and has more than enough oomph. Criticisms for me were the mirror positions. I added some extension bits to them and now I can see all i need. going in for its 600 mile service next week and i am a happy man. Would I use it on a dual carriageway? well maybe for short runs, but for short range commuting and having everyone from big burly bikers through to grans give me compliments on her, I think for £4100 it was exceptional value and the smile on my face is worth every penny.
If they are anything like an MSX 125/Grom, they will be fantastic. Just wish they had folding handlebars like the original ones, could get one in my campervan.
A super cool, cute looking bike but for me as a previous owner this is where it ends. I was sold on its looks alone but not able to take a test ride as no demo machines available. The seat is super squidgy but the riding position is awful for anyone like me 19:29 who has back problems such as spinal arthritis. For a 125cc engine its down on power for a bike in the 125 class with mine barely reaching 55mph flat out. Hope Honda have addressed the issue of build quality as a number of owners had reported issues with paint flaking off from the frame. As an everyday 125cc bike it isn't particularly practical as an all rounder, I've had many 125cc bikes and enjoyed them (even as a full licence holder) and they have been do it all type machines. I kept my Monkey for 6 weeks and it was the worst bike I've owned and have had many in the past and since. I apologise if this sounds very negative and I say it as it is without Malice. Its very easy to be enticed into something that looks great (I personally like that Tartan saddle) but at over 4 grand a pop its a lot of cash for a 125 particularly if it ends up being the wrong purchase. There is a big following for the Monkey bike and lots of goodies and tuning parts available but obviously this adds on a significant cost to the purchase price. If you are a fan of mini wheel bikes perhaps check out the Benelli option. Ive not ridden one so can't comment but I understand that owners love em and they have more power and at half the price of the Honda are less of a financial risk. If you are still leaning towards the Monkey Bike make sure you have an extended road test and that it will live up to your day to day expectations and will satisfy your needs, if not then jog on by the Honda showroom and look at something else.🙂👍
Thanks for the real world feedback, fun though it was to ride I must say I’m not sure I’d actually want to own one (unless I had a specific use for it)…
Great bike to get the hubris monkey off your back! Then again, I’d balance it off by pulling into a café wearing army boots, chained up black leathers and a fat cigar stickin’ out of my gob. In a mean ‘n deep gravely voice I’d slowly ask, “Are the loo’s clean in this joint?”
I've got a 22 that has been modded, makes about 11 to the rear wheel so probably about a 30% increase. One of my favorite bikes, just a different riding experience from the rest of my bikes. I have mine setup as an errand runner with top box and large windscreen. Luckily in the U.S. we get most of the models, Supercub, Trail, Monkey, Grom as well as the 110cc carbed Navi ($1,807) and supposedly we'll get the Dax as well in 2025.
It's certainly cute, I guess the wheels are a similar size to those of a scooter? I have my heart set on RE 350 classic for my city work, but if they didn't exist, this would be a hoot!
If you don't get it, you don't get it. I no longer want to tour or take motorelways. And sold the last of my big bikes.... So for country lanes and urban riding, Monkey is the most fun and best bike in the world. 😂
I have the C125 Super Cub, which has 17" wheels + Leg guards which do go a long way to keeping your legs dry on rainy days. It does have the toe/heel gear shifter, which did take a few days to get used to. However, I can now jump off my other bikes and jump on my cub without selecting the wrong gear on any of them. You just need to give it a few days, which, in your case might not have been possible. I'd now like to buy a CT125 Trail as well.
I think we're in similar position. I have the ct125 and absolutely love it. I like to buy super cub c125 because it looks and feel more comfortable on the road. But in my country, it's very hard to get all this bike (including monkey and dax) because there is waiting list for this kind of bike, Can take about 8 months-2 years 👀
@@timotiusbudiadi6726 I live in the UK, and Honda don't sell the CT125 here. You have to pay for it to be imported by a specialist importer, which will add to the cost and, I found out recently that it doesn't come with a warranty because it's an import. Nevertheless, I'm still considering getting one imported or, perhaps, waiting for one of the imported ones ( and there is a few) being sold on second hand.
The only downside to these mini bikes where I live is theft they have got to be the easiest bike in the world to nick just pick it up and walk away with it
I just bought the Honda monkey and I really love. It's great to go and visit friends or go fishing. There is something Honda needs to think about. I am 5ft tall and they should put a lower design seat for people of my hight. I have to tiptoe when I come to a stop sign, the other is the pipe should have just curve it around and let it hang under the motor like on the Honda rebel. I have a Honda rebel 1986 and I fit it just right with the lower seat. I took off the seat and have a lower seat straps down. If you know where I can get a lower seat that hooks on like the one that came with it please let me know.
Yes women in particular are penalised aren't they by tall bikes - so few low seat height bikes available (apart from cruisers - which tend to be heavy!)
Love the bike, don't care too much for the name. I had a red/silver one in the late 60s when it was called the Mini Trail. I wish there had been a way to hold on to that little bike all these years, I really miss it.
I think you can increase the brightness on the display. My CB has the same style display and I went into the settings and turned up the brightness to maximum and can see it bright and clear now.
So when the Monkey is parked next to a Fireblade, the monkey bike might start singing : Now you're the king of the bikes, a race track VIP, you've reached the top, just don't stop, and that's what's bothering me, I wanna be a big bike, fireblade, and be racetrack bound, and be just like the other bikes I'm tired of monkeyin' around ! Oh, oobee doo I wanna be like you hoo oo I wanna rev like you steer like you too (with apologies to Louis Prima, the Sherman Brothers, and the rest who made Jungle Book !)
True. Sold mine after 2 months after upgrading the suspension (it improved it tenfold) but soon got bored with it and the novelty wore off. It’s very very slow too which doesn’t help.
I love the idea of these (and the Trail 125) and want one, but they're very expensive in Canada at C$6,000 -- almost the same as most 300-400cc bikes -- and they're just a bit too slow to be useful here where you really need to be able to do 100 km/h without too much trouble. I'd also be a bit concerned with the small wheels with the craters in our roads, and that it would be tempting to thieves. Still, I can't help but want one as they look like an absolute blast, and I'd have one in a heartbeat in most markets outside North America where they make a bit more sense.
We are in Ontario, and I couldn't disagree more on the usefulness point. On suburban and country roads, this thing is in its element. The soft suspension is brilliant on our crap winter-ravaged road surfaces. And when negotiating a tight, crowded parking lot, there's simply nothing better. It's not much damned good on the highway, but a) that's obviously not what it was designed for and b) nobody has ever forced me to ride on the highway when I didn't want to.
@@rogerp4612 Here in Ottawa and surrounding area, a bike that struggles to do 90 km/h in optimal conditions is just too slow for a bike that costs C$6,000. Even on the country roads, traffic goes 90-100 km/h, and same with the city main roads. If you want to avoid the 400 series highways in Ottawa, it takes forever to get anywhere. If you're just going around the suburbs or in town (and not going between) then maybe it's alright but then it's really expensive and so easily stolen. Probably better off to get an e-bike for 1/4 the cost and be able to take paths and park at bike racks. I still think they'd be incredibly fun bikes, especially in places with lower speeds. The Grom is a lot cheaper and a bit faster so that's probably the one I'd get.
@@Thirsty_Fox We had a 200 cc scooter when moved to Ottawa; the bike was highway capable, speed wasn't so much the issue. However, after a year, the Ottawa roads had taken their toll on the plastics and fasteners - the bike was rattling apart. As well, the drivers here tend to push smaller bikes around. We replaced it with a 650 Vstrom - greater road presence, better suspension, better ability to place the bike in the lane than a lower powered vehicle - so I agree with your observations.
Someone said we don't look for old songs, we look for old memories. The only advantage of being the age I am is that when I see new/old bikes, I'm having old memories :)
You meet the nicest people on a Honda and even more on a Monkey!

The HM on the tank badge means Honda Motors 👍
Great review as always it’s a Motorcycle like the Mini was in the Auto industry 🙂 sweet looking but capable for around town and the Paddock for some fun rides.
Hi Andy , I’ve been waiting for you to test the monkey , it’s a class act , their faster than you think , I’m telling you ,do 150 -200 mile day on a mini bike and you’ll be hooked , I’ll see if you agree that the groms are only slightly the better road bike !!, my girlfriend and I have a couple of diavels and a couple of triumphs , street twin and rocket 3 , but it’s refreshing to ride the small bikes , groms , monkeybike and benelli tnts, , Last year we did a 250 mile trip in 1 day ( grom and monkeybike ) a total of 500 miles and squeezed in £14 in fuel in total for both bikes , 500 miles of fun for £14 it’s a bargain ,what’s not to like , you and mrs flyer on mini bikes 👍👍🏍🏍
never tire of your accent! Cheers from Texas!
I don’t have an accent! But thanks all the same…
We had a monkey bike in the back of the lorry years ago when we were racing in Europe. MUCH more fun than walking to and from the pub!
Great coordination with the flyby at 12:04.
It seems to have gone the way of most vehicles; 104 kg compared to the original at 58 kg! As I recall the original also had folding handlebars so you could lump it into a car boot , or your camper or even a boat. I think the tartan seat was the original colour.
The new one is twice as large in size as the original
I really enjoyed the review, great job thank you
Awesome, thank you!
Looks a lot of fun 👍
Just purchased 2024 monkey, long time Harley rider plus many other bikes,so excited feel like getting my 1st dirt bike, ha ha ha ha I am 60 years old 😊
I’m almost 62 now, when I get too old for my Ducati V4 streetfighter, I’ll still have my banana yellow monkey to ride up the beach front in Australia.
Good call that, hopefully Andy will spot your message and add the GSXS into the mix.
Yes that was a red kite you saw - we have lots of them around here. I’ll make an update video on the GSXS125 soon!
I think there's a demand for practical urban commuters, but the Monkey as well as the Dax seem a little too gimmicky to me. I'd rather go with a scooter.
Anyway great show as always, thanks very much. 👍🏼😁
Yes me too if truth be told - these are fun and raise a grin, but not sure I'd actually want one!
Cool!
Nice review & cool little bike. Like the Dax, I'm not sure when & why I'd buy one but I would be happy to if I had a reason to as it looks quite fun.
Yes that's the thing isn't it - fun to ride, but not entirely sure I'd want one.....
Love the look of it, looks great fun if a few of you have them and I'm sure for an urban environment works really well. The over £4k price tag I think would put me off though!
Great video.
Yes especially when you think you can get one of the Royal Enfield 350’s for the same sort of price….
@@TheMissendenFlyer hey that's a fair point! The Hunter 350!
I bought 2023 monkey. Love it very much. Super fun to ride.
Great to hear!
Rode this with my buddy from Singapore to Thailand covering 3000+km to and fro. The only downside was speed but she does everything that’s required.
hey hey... my pausing skills are impressive Master Jedi.... 11 great points... those who grew up in the 1970s are just the best...whoop whoop
Well done !
Thank you!
Having an extra gear does help you get the most from the engine, essential on our Derbyshire lanes really.
@@Peakwanderer Yeah Winnats Pass is quite a challenge for the little fella 😜
They should have upgraded that new model to 18 hp.....that would be their best seller ever
@@pleun315 The 125 limit of 14.7 hp is the most you could hope for on a 125, 6 gears would be nice too, sadly neither is likely.
Aha every day's a school day - thank you!
I had no idea Honda was still making the Z50 🤩
What a fun little bike that was when I was in my late teens 🥳🥳🥳
Yes had one for a year and actually used it for the commute into London. I was disappointed with the quality to be honest along with the backup from the dealer, 18 months old and chrome going rusty etc. I wouldn’t mind it wasn’t exactly cheap for what it was either. Decent shocks a must for everyday use.
Oh dear! Sorry to hear that!!
It must be that you cleaned it with sea water, because if not, it's impossible!!!, the quality of Honda is undeniable
Great wee bike TMF , good review as per usual .ideal to shove in the back a of a decent sized campervan and explore the area your parked up in .👍👍
The original monkey bike of the 60’s had a tartan seat too! Someone at Honda Japan definitely has a sense of humour😄🏍️🍺👍🇿🇦
Cheers Bill!
Great to hear that! Thanks for watching and for stopping by…
Yes indeed, it makes you smile again 😂😂
If they are anything like an MSX 125/Grom, they will be fantastic. Just wish they had folding handlebars like the original ones, could get one in my campervan.
Great vid😎🇨🇦
Thank you!
Thanks for the real world feedback, fun though it was to ride I must say I’m not sure I’d actually want to own one (unless I had a specific use for it)…
Enjoyed your video I have a Skyteam Monkey 125 for 10 years, is quite fast as only 65 kgs.
So disappointed you didn’t do the car park turning circle test! 😂
Crazy and very friendly👍🏼👍🏼🏆
Would love one of these as a second bike
Great bike to get the hubris monkey off your back! Then again, I’d balance it off by pulling into a café wearing army boots, chained up black leathers and a fat cigar stickin’ out of my gob. In a mean ‘n deep gravely voice I’d slowly ask, “Are the loo’s clean in this joint?”
Nice review as always, highlight for me is what looks like a red kite captured around the 12 minute mark :)
Indeed - well spotted! Very common in this area.....
I wouldnt take one hand off the bars with that small front wheel!
Great review - I need one of these :))
Awesome urban commuter !
This is a perfect bike for the local Costa Coffee
Ultimate monkey...., drop price by 3 grand
Love my NAVI.
GREAT VIDEO
I've got a 22 that has been modded, makes about 11 to the rear wheel so probably about a 30% increase. One of my favorite bikes, just a different riding experience from the rest of my bikes. I have mine setup as an errand runner with top box and large windscreen. Luckily in the U.S. we get most of the models, Supercub, Trail, Monkey, Grom as well as the 110cc carbed Navi ($1,807) and supposedly we'll get the Dax as well in 2025.
Quality review, think the monkey bike looks a barrel of laughs..can't wait for your Grom review..hopefully it's red to match the Panigale
HM Honda Motors - was a 1960's logo
Nice review, thanks. Is the ring back feature also useful for enthusiast meets - hopefully? :)
Yes good point!
Viva the monkey revolution ✊
It's certainly cute, I guess the wheels are a similar size to those of a scooter? I have my heart set on RE 350 classic for my city work, but if they didn't exist, this would be a hoot!
I had to check out the helmet. It's a Schuberth C5. Yikes, almost costs as much as the Monkey!
If you don't get it, you don't get it. I no longer want to tour or take motorelways. And sold the last of my big bikes.... So for country lanes and urban riding, Monkey is the most fun and best bike in the world. 😂
TMF you’re spot on regarding the “ridiculousness” of the Monkey just by looking at it. Something so small can bring big smiles.😊
Indeed - can't help but raise a grin!
Too small for me 🙈 6'6'' and 17 stone 🤣 pleased you enjoyed it and thanks for the review 👍 stick to my XT1200Z 🏍🏁👌
The only downside to these mini bikes where I live is theft they have got to be the easiest bike in the world to nick just pick it up and walk away with it
Very underrated bike the super cub, I have a wave 110, great handling and love the gear change, will probably get a super club also
I love the Cubs, great looks and they have a huge history but ☝️ i saw the monkey at the dealer, now that was love at first sight ❤
VIVA The Monkey revolution!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Quickshifter? Traction Control? Riding Modes? And he didn't show us the turning radius. 😞 ;-)
Another great Closed Caption classic this week
"Hey kids, it's the best of the floor here..."
Every video is a caption delight.
Glad you enjoy them!!
Love the bike, don't care too much for the name. I had a red/silver one in the late 60s when it was called the Mini Trail. I wish there had been a way to hold on to that little bike all these years, I really miss it.
Now you can have a new one!
I think you can increase the brightness on the display. My CB has the same style display and I went into the settings and turned up the brightness to maximum and can see it bright and clear now.
Aha!
Dropping your sunglasses and dark visor help too 😂
So when the Monkey is parked next to a Fireblade, the monkey bike might start singing :
Now you're the king of the bikes,
a race track VIP,
you've reached the top, just don't stop,
and that's what's bothering me,
I wanna be a big bike, fireblade,
and be racetrack bound,
and be just like the other bikes
I'm tired of monkeyin' around !
Oh, oobee doo
I wanna be like you hoo oo
I wanna rev like you
steer like you too
(with apologies to Louis Prima, the Sherman Brothers, and the rest who made Jungle Book !)
Nicely done.....
What we need is a one make Monkey championship at a go kart track....
do you think a gear indicator would be beneficial to a beginner to motorcycle, i always struggle to know what gear im in on my monkey. thank u
Sold my Monkey after 6 months. Once the novelty had worn off, I realised it was too big to be a toy, and too small to be of any real use.
Funny enough, me too 🤔 great little bike though
Hard to say it, but it's true for me. I prefer super cub or trail/ct 125 for daily commuter and a toy
Yeah I agree - fun, but not sure I'd actually want one....
True. Sold mine after 2 months after upgrading the suspension (it improved it tenfold) but soon got bored with it and the novelty wore off. It’s very very slow too which doesn’t help.
I've suspected this to be true for at least some folks. Fun for a week or ten, then boring. Best to rent your fun and buy your passion.
Hm is an acronym that actually stands for Honda Motorcycles..
Someone said we don't look for old songs, we look for old memories. The only advantage of being the age I am is that when I see new/old bikes, I'm having old memories :)
