Thank you SO MUCH for making this video..... I'm a pretty helpless (when it comes to cars) 27yoF, and this was SO SIMPLE for me to follow! I am confident enough after watching this, I'm literally about to go attack it before it starts raining 🤣
I'm still learning too, glad you found the video to be helpful! Good luck with the oil change and let me know how it goes, you can do it. You got this!
Yes, you can use the "High Mileage" if you wanted but it's not necessary for your application, I say this because you have such low mileage! I have used all 3 of the Pennzoil Synthetic Oils over my past 4 years of ownership and they have been amazing. My personal preference is their "ultra platinum" because apparently it's better under more extreme heat and stressful driving condition (I'm a more aggressive driver and want to be able to drive the car hard and not worry). Regardless of what synthetic oil you choose from Pennzoil, you cant go wrong. It's a preference and what you buy depends what you want out of the oil. Hope this helps!
Car is just under 180,000km as of today. Getting up there but lot's have been highway kilometres. Had no history with the car I bought it as is from a dealer back in 2019 for $3000 at 111,000km. This thing is gonna just keep getting love.
Not sure if you'll see this but use an oil press that filters a bit worse it'll allow more oil to your cams faster on a dry start up remember we got Mitsubishis my 3k is as delicate my Toyota is a lot more abusable
Thanks for you comment my fellow Mitsubishi owner. I like to use the factory Mitsubishi oil filters only now and they seem to be very happy on startups and have the perfect flow rate. I was an idiot and decided to use one of the worst oil filters for this video I will never buy a frame oil filter again after more research. I checked my cams when doing my valve cover and you can see it's totally normal wear from spirited driving lol. Penzoil ultra platinum 100% synthetic oil I swear by. It uses 3 anti corrosive techniques in combination to protect the engine as much as possible and has boatloads more additives then traditional oil requirements. Truly great oil. Ik what you mean tho these things are not a Toyota but I will say for the abuse they take they are built like tanks when they don't get rusted out.
oil pouring music is a throwback
