Omg I love how you cut the WiFi cable, and how you guys were all so mad it’s so relatable, because we need WiFi now that we’re online and sometimes in the middle of a zoom and the WiFi goes dead because everyone has to use the internet for school and work. And without the internet this quarantined life style would be horribly boring. Where I live we had a huge storm blow through it took down 4 trees at my house and almost blew my trampoline into my pond we we’re out of power and internet for 2 days.

We can't do anything with our friends now, we only have games, textingme, and calls! I would normally go to the park. Have a friend come over. Have a waterbaloon fight. Ride my bike. But I can't do that. So I have turned to Wi Fi.

Try 11 ( yea eleven) days in December in NH with no power and no generator, living alone. Hot water and stove were on propane. That's it, folks! I'd take my cat for a ride to warm her up. I can only see one other house - and they got power five days before me. Killer!! There were two power companies - each said my house was the others problem. We are used to being without power a few days frequently but that was epic. My kids had given me the BIG bottle of Baileys Irish Cream for Christmas. It didn't see the new year.

Our home is in a dead zone for internet. I have literally contacted every single company in our area including satellite internet companies.... no one can get us internet. So we are quarantined with no internet and no cable. We have a daughter who just turned 7 and her teacher has been gracious enough to drop off material at our home and call us a couple of times a week. So just remember everyone out there.... you could be living this life. Luckily we have a 3k plus dvd collection... but we have already watched them all before this even started so yeah... enjoy your wifi people... I can't even get 3g service on my phone except for one time spot in my yard.... sometimes.
It was more a call for everyone to be grateful for what they do have since most do have internet access and Wifi. We have since been able to get a Wifi booster from my daughter's school and bought another one to boost that even more. So we now have a little bit of wifi during off peak times of the day. Mainly early in the morning and later in the evening. While it's made work for me and school for her a challenge, it has forced us to bond, connect and spend time together doing things we would have never done before all of this. We have built a tree fort in the back woods, my daughter and I hand built planters for our garden along with a ton of other DIY projects that she has really enjoyed. She has leaned so many skills that she otherwise would not have learned until much later in life. So in some ways it's been a blessing and we have certainly tried to make the best of it! As we all should be doing. Be thankful, be grateful and adapt, that is all we can do.
