1996.. When i started to collect NBA Cards.. That Z-Force is really really a hot Packs during that time.. I remember i need to save my money allowance from school to buy that Antoine Walker Rookie Z-Force.. Lol.. That Jordan is really a holy grail..
Lol, the last few videos have started with the most dramatic music, if I didn't see the video and just heard it, I would definitely think I was hearing the beginning of some action-packed movie😂😂😂 The dancing in the background when Doug talks after Geoff pulls the Jordan😂😂😂
I pulled a BARRY SANDERS Neon Signs XL 5/5 out of 2021 elements. Other cards were Mac Jones patch numbered, Zach Wilson numbered, DeVonta Smith, and Rashod Bateman auto redemption. My first rip ever....got me hooked!
1996 was by far the best year 4 NBA,The #MAMBA is the #ANSWER. But Just remember ALLEN IVERSON was the true #MVP 2 win #Rookie of the year over the rest of his 96 killer class🏆🥇🙌🏽⛹🏾♂️
Does anyone know anything about the 23k Jordan ZForce I have one with the authentication paper that came with it its numbered at 11730?how many were printed if anyone knows and a rough value in a 10 .
I loved the vintage break waaaaaaay more than the new stuff. I forgot about a lot of players. The biggest annoyance from all breakers is watching people fumble hits trying to slow roll them. Stop it, no one cares about the 2 commons you shove on top of it. Watching different breakers holding them with their dirty hands by the corners and watching them slide commons on the surface in panic. Please just pop it and just us all jump. And “lift” cards, stop sliding cards off each other. I think we need to establish unspoken rules like golf.
While it’s fun and great to open these boxes at close to $1000 a box mmm I don’t think it’s in your favor to do so as proven in the reveal of this box. I have plenty of 96 wax but I won’t open it in this day in age and cost of these boxes. When released this product was $55 a box it absolutely was worth the break in 96. Also someone said would be great to get a Jordan autographics not possible seeing that my is upper deck exclusive for autos. Always neat to see some cracked just makes me feel great about keeping all mine sealed.
It's a box of cards that was originally made to open, admire, collect, and trade. Investment or not it was meant to be opened. can't take it with you when you're gone, and if you leave it behind for someone else , no guarantee there's anything good in that box. if you're investment is riding on $1000, then you're not holding the right stuff anyways.
Cringing here everytime those cards are being pulled apart from blocking. Eeek. Love those 90s inserts nothing compares to them nowadays. Keep up the great videos
I was buying old Fleer boxes on EBay about 15 years ago and I pulled the other two Bobby Phills Authographics from years 97 98 & and 98 99 so I might look out for yours online sometime to have all three. I also pulled a blue autographics, Kenny Anderson from a series one Z force box along with the Michael Jordan sticker and had them both graded by beckett many years ago as one of the first set of cards I remember getting graded.
Hi Geoff! Big fan of your RUclips channel! Still new to this, and I recently felt inspired and took the dive on a new investment project. I’m a huge eagles fan and really believe in Jalen Hurts becoming our franchise QB of the future. I know you usually don’t recommend buying raw cards, but I thought buying a bunch of investment lots of raw and then getting them graded could be profitable. With PSA being backed up at the moment, do you think I should send in the higher value cards I have acquired now and wait until after the season to see how Jalen performs to send in the base cards etc? Or should I send them all in at once for the bulk pricing? Any advice would be appreciated!
Yea, I don't think the auto beats the Jordan. Sure, it's a rarer card but it's a Jordan vs. $10 auto.. I mean had it been a bigger name, sure but that Jordan's a much more desirable card. I used to work at the LCS throughout the 90's and I remember breaking cases of this stuff along with Topps Archives of all products.. The owner instructed me and another employee to spend the day breaking that stuff just to pull auto's and inserts and to take the rest and make as many sets as possible, lol... It's crazy this is now considered high end and very desirable.. I was never into basketball because hockey and baseball were my sports, however since I was making sets, this and Topps Archives were a couple of the few basketball sets/cards I did have... I will say, the Topps Archives weren't too shabby of a set either (at least at that time, lol) - I remember the Jordan having the same card design as the 84 Topps baseball which I found really cool, since baseball was more of my thing than basketball at that time..
In need of Help. I have 2 cards that I need some help with. I have a 2020 Topps Triple Threads Triple Auto/Triple Relic 1/1 Pete Alonso, David Wright, Jacob Degrom. I pulled it from a Hobby Box. Though it is priceless to me, as I am a Mets Fan, I would like to get some Idea of what it might be worth. I also Found a Rare SARANAC GLOVE PROMOTIONAL DARRYL STRAWBERRY baseball card. I read that the card was pulled back because Darryl did not like the photo the artist drew. His nose was the issue. Very few if Any made it out, and I have one. Not sure where to start on this one, but any help would be great. Thanks Brandon Da-kine Sports Collectables
This is so cool. Somehow when I was little I managed to not open a couple of my things. I actually am waiting to send my star’s 86 Micheal jordon out for grading. If it wasn’t for me stumbling upon your channel 6 months ago I still wouldn’t even of known I had it.
@@rodtwichi1290 actually last i checked Beckett was grading them. PSA and SGC will not. What I read was someone from the Star company took some uncut sheets along with other cards that were never supposed to hit circulation. I'm intrigued to look it up again. Because I think I also remember hearing the top guy at Star printed more and may have been selling them from the home shopping network after the intended amount was already released. So PSA and SGC consider them counterfeits.
Dang that’s crazy. I’ll definitely have to look into this. I use to have the star 85 but I can’t find it:( I wonder if there is anyway to tell the difference.
It’s almost an insult to sports fans / collectors and not know how to pronounce names. Or not know their name at all. Sounds like you do it just for the money. Which is why sports card collecting nowadays is dumb and too expensive. It’s supposed to be affordable for kids.
“She’s got an auto! Let’s have her show it last and cuff the corners for 2 minutes”.

I remember that... It had like a fuzzy felt type lettering on the front
RIP Bobby Phills...probably one of his only official autos available.
Grade school and Highschool days of collecting cards. thank you for bringing me back to memory lane. right in the feels.

These pack battles are very entertaining 🔥
Mugsey was never the same after he got his Basketball skills back from the monstars

Jordan for the win. Good luck on the next break..
Those are some of my favorite autho series...

Have a Kobe Z-Force out to PSA for grading. Just been sitting around
Great Video !
Z-Force wow I never realized they were rare had tons of those as a kid still have a few. No one HUGE
Sick!!!!
You love to see it!
Awesome pulls, but next time don’t let the corners of the card touch your hands and palms. Big fan 🙌🏽
Amazing thumbs up 👍
Nice video seen all of them since day one good job so far. Keep up the good work.
Curious, how much do you think the Series 2 box would go for factory sealed?🤯

Thought those Jordan’s were gonna be worth more but surprised they weren’t when I just checked comps
Nothing pulled was particularly valuable, just having a good time ripping wax!
Great vid
Exciting show.
Is that a Blue Ink Bobby Phills Autographics too?! If so, that’s rare! That’s that year’s parallel. Most were in black ink.
Hope someone hits a big rare MJ insert in series 2!

Agreed, for investment, it’s always better to keep boxes sealed. But they are fun to open!
If they opened them alone I would agree. Because they are opening them to create quality content, I disagree.

That MJ base was about $5 bv back then
Did they really ship it like that? I like how no one is questioning that. You all need to step up your mail game.
The bald dude looks like megamind 🤣
Man, for a minute I thought this was ex2000 before they opened
as long as crooked hat does not win. Looks ridiculous.
You would think an investor would have saved the box rather than destroy it with box cutters.
What a jag. His employees got to hate him lol. He even does the hands thing to his own crew irl lol
Quite the opposite
