Hey guys, Happy New Year to you! Finally someone makes one of these with a roof and a floor!!! I've been watching and waiting for a manufacturer to come up with one. Can't wait to see your thoughts on it down the road. Safe Travels! Best - Dave
Absolutely, we have also looking for something just like this as well. So far we really like it. the build quality appears really good and chocked full of feature. We'll update this video when we get back out there. We're kinda stuck right now, have to get our rear differential re-built on the 5th and new heim joint and Johnny joints on our rear control links. Then we're back at it.
@@ironhorseoverland7353 Nice! Looking forward to seeing your thoughts. We pick up our Project M next week and I've been considering adding a quick deploy shower tent to the arsenal. I saw on Instagram you were getting a bunch of work done on the 4runner, should be good to go for a bazillion more miles! Safe travels!
@@xploreoverland Thank you, yeah we’re looking forward to getting back on the road. We’ve been under a roof for too long!!!!! Keep an eye out for future content
I like the roof. I bought the material to make one for my privacy room, but I haven't sewn it together yet. It just uses velcro to quickly attach it. If I am going to spend more than one night, I have a tarp room for that side of the truck, that surrounds the privacy room. Another good reason for the roof... Camping near people with drones:'). That looks like a well built unit I especially like the struts to keep it open.
We absolutely will. We had a quick Pitch that we really liked but the lack of roof and floor was the deal breaker. We used it for a few years and so far we really like this one.
Mike, now you have an alternate way to clean up your act. I had the DrKDSS sway bar adapters and new bushings put on. The rubber squeak sound is gone.. Thanks for sharing and Happy New Year. Cheers, Mate.
That's awesome glad you got rid of the squeaking. Our rig goes in to the shop on the 4th to get the rear diff re-built. Pinion bearing sounds like it going out... That and some re-fit and then back out on the road.

I gotta tell you we really like Taruca shower tent! It was reasonably priced, easy to install and very functional
I love this! We wanted one with a roof also. Please let us know how you like it.

@@ironhorseoverland7353 Did in deed....
Do you have to remove the roof and floor each time you're putting it away, or does it fold into the bag altogether?
No, it all fits in the bag!
