I was in the front row of this. I'm the guy next to the girl with the big brown hair and the blue headband. Wild day. The rain and lightning storm, Jacob Dylan! The Marleys! The Felice Bros. played acoustic. Amazing! This was one of the most memorable Crowes shows I've been to. Great set. Great Crowes lineup. One of the best days of my life.
Thorn in My Pride was epic. I am so jealous of you jpd632. I wish I had been there. That riff in Thorn in My Pride is absolutely hypnotic at the beginning. I love Oh Josephine too, the Delany and Bonnie songs, and of course, Girl from the North Country. Too many to mention. Just so good.
Two of the most talented American musicians in the past quarter century. It's a shame the boys dont get much recognition for their diverse contributions to "The Song." 👍
Listening to this again today 🎶 Fk, they're phenomenonal! 💖 I listened to this cranked up on my tv 8 months ago - a month before my partner/soulmate/carer died suddenly & unexpectedly the week of Christmas Dec '21 = a month later he died 😞 He was only 30 (18 years younger than me) and he was an electronic music producer & dj but he had also been introduced to amazing music by his father in England (who's a useless prick around my age that was never there for him) and by the stuff I played him too. He was truly beyond his years. But Sam was listening to this from the bedroom and I was in the lounge room at the time. I can still remember him yelling out to me: "ah yes, I understand now..." What he meant by that was: "I can totally understand why you're listening to this & love this band Lou, I definitely dig it too". God bless you Sammy. Keep making music and listening to The Black Crowes, Uriah Heep, Iron Maiden, U2, Empire Of The Sun & Nothing But Thieves etc with me by my side - via heaven. I miss our conversations about anything and everything & I miss listening to music with you. My heart breaks for the loss of you every single day. I love you & will never ever forget you... ❤️
My husband died this past June. He was a professional touring musician. We had the same taste in music. He was friends with Eddie and we went to the show with Jimmy Page at the Palace. I don't have anyone to share music with anymore. I'm still in a state of shock and grief. I can't bare to go through his things yet. We were together for 28 years. His death was reported on the Detroit news channels. How long does it take to stop crying and feeling so alone?
I saw Luther open for Tedeschi Trucks in STL and he came back on and kill it with the Derek most of the night. Favorite concert of all time for sure!!! I was in about the third row(first row not in the pit) at the Fox Theater or Peabody can't recall doesn't matter! So epic never have I been sucked into a perform as much.
Love ❤️ The Crowes from the first time I heard them, shame Steve an Mark arnt with them for the SYMM Tour, but ne mind, you can’t have it all.. Luther Dickinson is a class act on this so hats off to him as well 🌞❤️👍🏻 , They are up there as one of the all time Great and REAL ROCK,n,ROLL BANDS Of all time 🌞❤️👍🏻🎸🇺🇸😎⭐️🌞. We Need this on DVD .. Fecking Adverts , Thanks for the upload Sir I Know the Adverts are not you fault or doing ❤️🙏🌞⭐️👍🏻
I hope they show up In Scotland later this year. Every concert my brother had tickets too got cancelled or whatever. The Black Crowes haven't cancelled yet. Man, I hope they play. I've wanted to see them for a long time.
I came close to seeing them long time ago in Modesto Ca but they cancelled. Had my ticket weeks before was even going to go by myself. I was so disappointed.
Wow , thanks so much for sharing this . Their arrangements of these amazing classic songs is beyond great . Chris and Rich are so talented . Really loved "He Was A Friend of Mine""
I gotta be honest, I'm a fan. I love how they keep challenging us as fans. Challenging each other as artist's. They just keep evolving without compromising what we all fell in love with.😁
That is the most pretentious comment I've ever seen. What a bunch of nonsense. "Challenging us as fans". 🤣 I bet if asked how "they just keep evolving without compromising", you'd reply with more idiotic garbage such as "on so many levels". 🤣 Chris must be short for Christina.
Great show, great sound, thank you. I always loved that shirt Chris is wearing - back up at Big Sur I remember it catching my eye. Now that lock down has ended let's get the tour going - they're still selling tickets for the UK dates - we're back to normal here in England, so let's go let's go.
The sound is much better on this one, awesome 💞 Thank you so much for this (especially from us over here in Oz), because most bands don't or won't ever come here 😞 x
So so cool to come out at Newport playing an acoustic "Girl From the North Country" by Dylan. Had to bail 30 minutes in when the commercials were coming every two minutes. Too bad, I wanted to hear it all, but there's plenty of other good material available elsewhere...............
Listen to their shows 92-97 and 2005-2006 also. Pretty amazing eras for this band, not to mention when the played with Jimmy Page. I saw them a month ago and then are still awesome. Their classic lineup is still my favorite.
These guys have the perfect "Faces" swagger. I'd love to see them do nothing but Small Faces, Faces, Humble Pie & Marriott centered show. They'd peal the paint off of the room as they have the goods. Great concert with the folk heavy early parts.
What a phenomenal arc of tension performance!❤ I also love the fact that the bassist is playing the cheapest “crappiest” basses one can buy (Epiphone and Harley Benton). Goes to show once more that gear is overrated and musicianship is everything. Love the Crowes, any lineup is great!!! FU haters!!!
Thanks for upping, but 2 ads in the first 15 minutes? Seriously? You're not even part of the band so it's hard to look the other way with that.
That's RUclips my friend.. not me.. just install an ad blocker ;)

How were The Marley's?
That's awesome bro, I often wondered if ppl in crowd that got on vid were ever able to see themselves
Dude that’s too cool. You caught em at an awesome moment. And with Luther!
Rich has a great voice too! They are so close and I hope they have reconciled forever.
Proper band, proper songs, proper musicians. Rock as it should be. Long life for the Crowes
Rock is not about being "proper".
When was this actually recorded?

Best band ever, for me. I love it when they are jamming.
What a beautiful version of "Polly" Thank you my Sista.... Fills my heart with love.... CR vocals are spot on........ BIBLICAL
I remember seeing this back when I was 10. Memories
Great set by The Crowes. Enormous talent on display from everybody. At that time, I considered them the standard bearers for southern rock.
Listening to this again today 🎶

sorry ya "partner" partner/soulmate/carer, ,,,,,, CARRIER? ya meant?!?!?

Luther's face melting solo on Wiser time here is insane. Probably the best I've heard.
