    Those partagas boxes are really nice! I've used few...black always looks good!

    It is looking pretty good! I suspect that you are correct about the soft wood and frets. The barbs don't have alot to hang on to. I'm looking forward to hearing it.

    Since your CGB is electric, why recess for the resonator area?

      It’s acoustic/electric. So it can be played either way. Seems to be the way a lot of people make them from what I’ve seen, at least of the cbg builders on youtube.

    Why did you have to notch the back, why couldn’t you just cut the tail and butt the back of the tail piece to the popular brace?

      I didn’t consider that at the time, actually. Good point. I could have done that, but I think I may have still done it the same way since I had already notched out all of that part of the neck and also so as not to reduce the amount of the top that would be able to vibrate.
