It is looking pretty good! I suspect that you are correct about the soft wood and frets. The barbs don't have alot to hang on to. I'm looking forward to hearing it.
It’s acoustic/electric. So it can be played either way. Seems to be the way a lot of people make them from what I’ve seen, at least of the cbg builders on youtube.
I didn’t consider that at the time, actually. Good point. I could have done that, but I think I may have still done it the same way since I had already notched out all of that part of the neck and also so as not to reduce the amount of the top that would be able to vibrate.
This is such a cool project love it
Thanks!
Those partagas boxes are really nice! I've used few...black always looks good!
I do like the way they look. Thanks for watching!

Thanks Mark. I’m quite concerned about the frets!
Verri good....👌🎛️🧞
Hey CMR, thank you for the details
Since your CGB is electric, why recess for the resonator area?

@@CMRWoodworks Yes. I'll probably do the same - in case the power goes out. Cheers.
Why did you have to notch the back, why couldn’t you just cut the tail and butt the back of the tail piece to the popular brace?
