1080p HD!
During several weekends in January the East Coast Mainline is shut between Darlington & Newcastle for essential engineering works. Therefore services to/from the North & Scotland have to travel via the Durham Coast route. So from Newcastle across to Sunderland then follow the route that Grand Central services take through Hartlepool, Eaglescliffe and back onto the ECML at Northallerton. This includes some footage of the journey between Newcastle & Hartlepool.

Ahhh.... Sunderland Central station in all of it's "glory"...
Good time to see you soon on the back TV
At 15:50, I noticed that the east coast pasting you had the refurbished seat covers.
Can you make a video on your filming locations please?
at 3.12 where you edited , was the old gateshead station platform. You missed them out !!!
nice, if you fancy something different, our station - Lincoln will be once again busier than normal with traffic on Saturday the 30th and Sunday the 31st January. I've PM'ed you the details if you fancy a trip through here and doing a video.
Loved the sound quality and the footage. Great work. Is Virgin gonna bring Pendolinos into service on the ECML?
+businessbuilding1 they wont, there is no point as the ecml is relatively straight and its not cleared for tilting.+there getting iep class 800 and 801 soon
imagine the HST accidentally being put on the metro line. aye pet just gonna take the HST to haymarket
I was ment to go on it but I went to see a Class 37 @ Ramsgate
Anyone know why some of the speed limit boards are in Km/h?
Oh it’s for the Tyne & Wear Metro services. There speed is in Kp/h presumably because of where they were built.
So are Virgin Trains luxury trains and only the very well off can afford them their prices for their airline are very high and mostly the rich fly them.
