Grand Central HST from Sunderland

I haven't covered much of the route between Sunderland and the ECML, the route which Grand Central services cover for quite some time. So when I joined this service, the 17:31 back to London King's Cross at the last minute I thought I'd try and get some snaps of the route to give you guys a brief look at what the route has to offer! Surprisingly scenic in places, running along the cliff tops between Sunderland & Hartlepool. I filming in places up until departure from York, then it got dark and I sat and relaxed for the rest of the journey non-stop into King's Cross.
Always impressed with Grand Central, possibly one of my favourite operators. Their HST's particularly are lovely inside & out, extremely comfortable, great for long journeys and as to date I've always found their staff really nice, friendly & chatty! :)

In most German trains you can't open the windows...like ICE, IC and short-distance-trains

In most Morden trains in the uk you cannot. But this train was put into service when u could well still do that

+gemini bold Men you shuld be proud of your city and country. I was in summer school in Sunderland and I cant say it's shithole or scruffy city. Go to Der es Salaam or Monrovia in Liberia, you will see poor scruffy places. Are you volunteering maybe it's time to do something for your city? Don't complain just work harder. You whant to see warzone go fight against isis in Syria.
