- I got to experience Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind during a preview and in the middle of the ride we stopped! After about 30 seconds, the lights came on and we got a VERY COOL look at the giant show building. It was fascinating to see how massive the screens are for this ride and how much track is all around you. The behind the scenes tour was quick, and the lights turned back on but the ride resumed without any music or show scenes. All was well because they let us ride again. Still, what a cool moment! Wachow!

Not to show any hate to these videos!! Videos can not show justice for this ride. It is truly the best ride at Disney world. The first time I rode this I was almost in tears because it was so good. That same day I rode it again and I was smiling from ear to ear the whole entire ride. No video will show this ride justice. Words can’t express the feeling when you are on this ride. I could ride it a million times and not get bored. If you go during Christmas time it is even better because they play a Christmas rock and roll song and it’s amazing.

Love the electric guitar cover of Universe of Energy at the beginning before they jumped back. To ride it as part of a preview is one thing, but seeing it with the LIGHTS ON is even more of a golden experience. This ride truly is Rock N Rollercoaster and Space Mountain's baby

Wow. I road this back in August. I didn’t even notice that was Universe of Energy. Disney has been doing such a good job lately of paying tribute old attractions.
this ride disorients you in the perfect way. you come out of the launch having no clue where you are and which way you’re going but it’s fantastic. really makes you feel like you’re flying through space

Just rode this today and it is THE most amazing ride I have ever been on. My jaw was in my lap the whole time. It is next level awesome! It really feels like a dream.
I agree %100, just rode this last week during our annual trip and it's my fav roller coaster experience to date. I was speechless when we came off and I can't wait to get on it again
I totally agree. This was the coolest coaster experience I've ever had. I can't imagine the tech that has gone into this thing. I hope the OP was able to ride it again to get the full experience. It was ABSOLUTELY amazing.

Literally can’t help but smile looking at how fun this looks. With all the devastating things going on, so grateful we have places like this to escape to. Can’t wait to ride this one day!

First time riding today. I was completely blown away. Legit lost track of which way I was moving at one point. Nearly got sick. Stumbled several times walking out of the building. Saw one person who had to be helped on the stairs.
10/10 will wreck myself on this ride again.
I just rode this on Saturday. OMG. BEST RIDE EVER. If Space Mountain, Rock N Rollercoaster had a love child, this would be it, but on a whole different level. It's intense in the funnest way possible. We cannot wait to ride it again in a few weeks ♥

It’s the omnimover that makes this ride so awesome. The guardians and the music just adds another layer of fun. I hope to see more thrill rides like this in the future
This is the best video ever of this ride, your low light camera is great. It’s the first time I have been able to SEE the reverse launch. And seeing the track lit up is awesome. Love it

I rode this ride 2 weeks ago and this is one of the best rides at Disney
I rode this ride the first (and only) time last week when my boyfriend and I went to Disney for a birthday! Thanks to me and my timing, we were able to get a group boarding quite early with his mom and her husband and it was SO FUN. I kept saying that I wanted to get Conga but throughout the whole queue I had One Way or Another stuck in my head randomly… to then get on the ride and that was our song 🤣 my boyfriend said I’m psychic for that. It was a mind blowing experience!! I usually get motion sick and I was surprised I didn’t get dizzy!! Until 30 mins later where the motion caught up with me and I had to sit down for a second to not feel like I was gonna throw up. Luckily we were in America at that point and sat down to see the Broadway on Disney show they had in the pavilion stage. Overall 10/10 ride!!! Nothing like it

I ran (so far away) fits so freaking well!
That was cool to see. The first 20 seconds of this ride is hands down the most epic 20 seconds I’ve ever had on a roller coaster. I can’t even explain how it feels other than its perfection. I guess that’s what 500 million gets you. We will be hitting it for a 3rd time tomorrow.
Haven’t rode this ride yet. It looks like Space Mountain on steroids.

I went on this ride yesterday and closed my eyes on the whole thing. Major motion sickness. We had Blondie’s “One Way or Another” on our ride.

This ride is such a fantastic experience. We had the conga play when we rode it and everyone was dancing in their seats! Definitely worth waiting all day to get a spot.

Although we don’t have the Anaheim version of space mountain and i kind of am fine with that, it is nice to have bits and pieces of it in these new indoor coasters. Like the lift hill and corridors of the ride,, and tron with the station overhead walkway. I do think space needs a redo, but still with its unique traits kept. Like the dual tracks need to stay, just onboard audio and a smoother experience
WDW's Space Mountain isn't actually unique. It is just Disneyland's Matterhorn inside the Space Mountain dome. They did this to be cheap. All other Space Mountains are completely different from each other.

@@Chris-ey9mi 3 out of the 5 are literal clones of each orher. Even the magic kingdom is a original layout dl, tdl and hkdl are all clones. Mk and dlp are the only ones with layouts unique to them
When’s the last time you’ve been on DL’s space mountain? They changed it to Star Wars a few years back but also changed the track if I’m not mistaken as well. I remember going in 2014 and it was regular space mountain and going once again in 2015 and it being “hyperspace mountain” with Star Wars. I went again in 2017, 3 times in 2018/2019 New Years and it felt similar but going last year it felt like the track changed subtly. Less mini drops/hills and more rapid turns.

Changes the entire ride
Was on it opening day, have road it at least 7 times and we are going back again this Nov cant wait its the best roller coaster at Disney. Hope the hurricane has not damaged it.
Went on this today, my mom and I don’t have motion sickness but we both ended up almost throwing up on the ride, I still feel sick and we rode it hours go. My dad and sister enjoyed it, though. The right side is apparently worse, but the left side moves a little slower. I still can feel the movement from it, and my mom and I both felt very sick after the ride. I don’t recommend going on it unless you’re a big fan of roller coasters. I went on Soarin and Test Track perfectly fine, but GOTG cosmic rewind was too much. Not good for small children, but it should be fun for a teenager or an adult that really likes fast paced thriller roller coasters. And if you do have motion sickness don’t go on it at all. It’s a lot of jerking and spinning and some backwards movement, and if you have glasses, make sure they’re on really tight, mine almost blew off a few times. The spiral down was where I passed out for a minute, and the pictures of us are just my mom and I about to vomit and we’re both crying and screaming on the right and my dad and sister on the left laughing and having fun. Also not a good ride if you have anxiety. Definitely not my thing, but I guess if you really like roller coasters this will be good for you.
I second all of this. I’m not good with coasters and went on this and almost cried after. I felt so sick and that stomach drop feeling was just constant throughout the ride. I was shaking after and had anxiety for a good 20 minutes. I know I sound like a baby but this is just a warning if you’re sensitive to this kind of stuff I’d probably avoid this ride.
What do you mean "spiral down" explain please. Is there any drops? Is it really that fast? How's going backwards is that fast and curves the cart you're on aswell? I need to know because I hate roller-coasters and I got on the goofy's roller-coaster that's next to the flying Dumbo.. They say it's a kid's ride but I hate it. Itgies fast, I closed my eyes, and I hate the drops, heights, curves, I can feel a pit in my stomach as I'm on it and I hate it. I need to know please😭

@@lyn2411 tbh it was dark and I had my eyes closed the whole time so I don’t even know what direction I was going in half the time I just remember hating the feeling wanting it to end lol. I know in the beginning it shoots you backwards which I was fine with and my boyfriend warned me but after that it just felt like a lot of moving around and I had those butterflies in my stomach the whole time. He’s not good with rides either like big drops and he likes the ride so idk
