Honestly I was slightly hesitant in watching the video because it seemed like a recipe i wouldn't make, but had to click because it was Mandy. And wow, by the end of it I was convinced I needed to try to make this even if it's a long process. You can never go wrong with a Mandy recipe and gem of a video. I really appreciate how much thought and passion goes in to her form of cooking and making something worthy of eating.
That looks like some of the best fusion food I’ve seen in a long time. Fat carries flavour, so you can’t really go wrong with fatty pork belly, laminated pastry and creamy Camembert! Well done!
Mandy, you have convinced me that the intestine is Mandytory 😂 I’ve never seen anything like this sandwich before. I’ll need a bigger kitchen counter just for rolling the buns, and a noodle cutter, and a pasta maker, but never mind all that. The resulting buns are UNBELIEVABLE! The Camembert spread and the pork belly/gravy/intestine mixture make for a thoroughly refreshing sandwich - no lettuce/tomato/onion/ketchup/mustard/pickles/chips necessary! - without all the fuss of a “regular” burger! It’s funky, not fussy! You are a *GENIUS!*
Hello, I wanted to see other Mandy videos and wondered if you guys could put her videos into a playlist? I searched "Mandy Lee" but other videos come popped up too so it is not easy to watch multiple. Thank you for your time! Thanks for the recipe too, Mandy ! :) It is very much like "Laccha paratha" which is served at Semma in NYC. So happy to see this in action.
I'm can't be the only one who loves hearing these words pronounced properly. So much of the richness of America's culture has been hidden away because of xenophobia. I'm glad the younger generations are normalizing multiculturalism. Just look she is doing by embracing both! It's amazing!
Beautiful buns…I’ll definately try when I have a full morning to prepare- minus the intestine🌸. Do you have your own channel. I love ur recipes, presentation. Ty
This is such a ripoff of June with Delish at home. You can tell, she is literally yelling and trying to look and sound like June from Delish. Mandy is great when she isn't trying to imitate June from Delish.
I don't know exactly how you think June "looks and sounds," but I don't think anyone is trying to rip anyone else off. Two Asian women in food media can both be brash and idiosyncratic and question authority AND maintain unique nuanced identities.Look at Mandy's blog-- her tone has been consistent since 2012, when June (who no longer works for Delish) was probably in middle school. N.B. in most of Mandy's older entries there is a paragraph of spam that wasn't there before and I'm not sure she knows about--- ignore it I think she's mentioned she was hacked. My point is that there's room for both of them-- or there should be.
Mandy is the reason I follow this channel... she the best

It's carzy to me how Many comes up with the most out the the box and amazing recipes. It's so inspiring.
Mandy is on another level. The bun alone was impressive but the whole thing turned out great.
I adore Mandy! Her instructional style and recipes are so perfect! Also her kitchen is so cool!
Mandy is nuts and I love it she's a fucking genius in the kitchen and hilarious

I wonder if you could use the fettuccini pasta cutting attachment instead of that hand cutter to get the same effect.
why have i not thought about doing a bun/bread with a pasta roller on the kitchenaid. that could be a great way to do a many layers thing.
Looks amazing !!
Love the pot the pork belly is braised in! Where from?
Man I bet those buns are amazing!!!
Anybody know what that icing knife that she always uses?? That thing seems so useful...
Look delicious...
Hi Mandy Could you please show how to make restaurants style Hongkong steamed BBQ pork buns.
Thk
Those buns are brilliant. It's like roti, or scallion pancakes.
Mandy rocks!!
This is wild, homie.
Wow! Thank you. Do you have to add intestines or can you sub it for something else
fascinating
Shouldn't Xi'an burgers be made from lamb (with cumin)?
