Then I saw gurudwara in CP and I went there and worshiped I get prasad. I was hungry so I asked for more and he gave me and told me to please do eat food too. Then I sat down and eat food there. It was most delicious food of my life because I felt that God himself serve it to me because I was very hungry had no money. Dalai Lama visits Golden temple to rever the Guru's. So i feel that Sikh Dharma is a complete package for our modern day world and simplistic way to merge with lord. People in India are mostly dishonest and insincere. Even though everyone says politicians in India are corrupt, fact is politicians also came from Indian society and Indian society is inherently corrupt. Many people vote because they get paid money and others vote because of caste, race etc. If we accept the rot is deep in people's minds itself, there is possibility of change. If we keep blaming others for everything, nothing will change.

In my place the Northeast we don't believe in cast i myself am a dalit according to the caste certificate but no one will not ask even one time what is ur caste. Here women are respected like goddess and birth of a girl child is a boon and is celebrated more than boys. We have Muslims, sikhs, hindus and Christian and all of us live in complete harmony. I respect each and every relegion since many people have faith in them and i don't wanna hurt anyones feeling. So please don't comment anything instead of having perfect knowledge about it. I remembered during kedarnath flood when ppl r broken beyond repair. Souls r damaged the sikh gurudwara from delhi reached there in trucks nd cooked food during sever downpour to feed the ppl. Bcuz they knew those who lived needs food to survive bring their strength back to fight for what is left behind. They r ture followers of sanatan dharma which teach serve humanity without anything in return not even salvation. That is guru gobind singhji teaches us everyday.

What that man said really awakened my perspective on things, because even religious people do things because they believe they will get to go to heaven or expect good things in return. To do good actions without expecting anything back from one is the best

Sikhs are the diamonds of the country India...
Can't express their nationhood and love for their country...
They are good and peace lovers...
Some religion focus on converting people and has the motive to change the country's people to their religion...
Sikhs are the best example of peace-loving people and also they focus on how to live in a commune and serve others without expecting any praise or awards .....
Salute them and lots of love from INDIA.

Sikhs are Indians after all. Me being an Indian, I would rather say that the Sikhs are the most generous ones. Very welcoming, polite and soft spoken. Most importantly, they're merry. They tend to help everyone they can. Proud of my country and my fellow Indians. I miss my home so much, since December I've not visited my house in Mumbai. I live in San Diego CA Btw. And I'm a student currently pursuing MS
