haha robert lives in the same town as me and one day me and my mom were driving down this road and we ddint know where we were cuz we got lost and then we ended up at his house and he went outside and started waving at us OMG I NEARLY DIED
Raising Sand is my Album of the Year. Great music, genius collaboration. Who'd have guessed this would work so well. And wow, oh wow this is turning into some amazing year for Robert Plant. The Led Zeppelin reunion last night is getting the most amazing reviews!
Their both incredible! I think that it's through her that he gets saved. Or atleast sees God in her! Whatever talent that you have comes from God. God takes you from your peak without him! And then blows your existence with unlimited anointing! It's phenomenal! Blows everything else away!!! Clean pure and crazy wonderful music! That till then you didn't know existed! Non God music is no more good enough! That's experiencing God on a level that only the saved can come even close to. Alison knows that! And he's probably fascinated with it. Even if he might not even be aware of what he's experiencing! If he keeps it up? At some point he will! Then he's changed forever! I've experienced it. I know! God bless them both with HIM!!! THE ABSOLUTE BEST!!!
So proud of you both you are so awesome 2 different worlds coming together is the ultimate dirrent that became the miracle of balance that is amazing. Love your music
its kind of thanks to robert actually, hes the one who wanted to do it To be perfectly honest I want a led zeppelin tour as much as any other fan. But if Robert wants to do music im not into I really dont mind, Freedom of choice and all that.
I was answering the question above. Robert Plant has stated in the past and named American artistes as his influence. I don't like to get political about music as it depends on taste rather than culture etc.
A Brilliant Post....!!! I have to say Dermot does a better interview than Radio 2 muso's Padcliffe & Maconie did (oh, let's pre-record it, edit it, & pretend it's live....the listeners will never know....)
They are laughing because EVERY SINGLE MSM interview they have done together in the last 15 years starts with saying what an "unlikely" pairing they are... despite them answering that and debunking it. They are musicians who both speak the language of music and want to continue to grow and try new things. Nothing unlikely about the pairing at all when seen through that prism.
He didn't tell the whole story here, about when he spoke with Allison that first time on the phone. She was trying to put the baby down to nap, and was whispering. Robert says, "I thought, man, this chick is far out. She's on Luudes or something. " *BWHAHA*
With respect. All the British artistes at that time where influenced by American artistes, The Animals, The Beatles and Stones etc. The Beatles i think, did alot for the British invasion into America but were still influenced by their music. But i might add, we beefed it up a lot better lol
You know I actually liked the album but I thought the production of the songs was a little sparse in places..I think if they would of added more lushness to some of these standards it would of came across better.
ok lets go through this bit by bit.yes everybody knows page was into the occult, had a shop, collects crowley material even bought his house etc. the lyric is"from the door comes satans daughter ",though i dont know what that proves? dirt from the crossroads..allegedly!..again i dont see anything other than silly half truths...oh and the "object" on presense is just that.its not an occult object it was designed by hypgnosis especially for the album
a lot of the black artists in america took british folk music from the slave traders and changed it..the pentatonic scale is used in celtic music and blues for a reason. so its swings and roundabouts.
"pity the fool who just stands still"..What a great comment from Robert.
He has never done either. Love "carry fire"...
I must say their vocals are very complimentary to each other!
Seriously, this album is going to win a LOT of awards.
Alison, one of the most beautiful women around.
THESE 2 ARE MAGICAL TOGETHER. 'T'BONE BURNETT GIVES THE MIX THE SONGS.
I'm so in love with Alison. She's awesome!
haha robert lives in the same town as me and one day me and my mom were driving down this road and we ddint know where we were cuz we got lost and then we ended up at his house and he went outside and started waving at us OMG I NEARLY DIED

Roberts like a kid in a candy store with Alison young and beautiful. I lean classic rock . Learn off of each other.
The man is a genius! What more can be said?
The same can be said about Allison.

@@jimwhite4105 I like what you wrote, I might not understand it completely but I like it.
At last a nice respectable interview.❤
Us too. June 28 - can't wait. Been loving Raising Sand since it was released. This is a superb collaboration: AK, RP + T-BoneB! Everybody wins!
So refreshing to see a new release being promoted by 2 people who really do love music.
Her love for GOD! Is what's important! And makes all the difference that's worth making!
The guy playing guitar is T Bone Burnett. He’s a legit musical genius.
Love them both!
What a great combination they are brilliant
So proud of you both you are so awesome 2 different worlds coming together is the ultimate dirrent that became the miracle of balance that is amazing. Love your music

Yeah, have to agree there.
Dermot normally has me shouting at the telly but not this time.
Great interview.
"your gonna have a bus" god,i love her
❤️
So the first song they played together was the same one that cobain covered at mtv unplugged?
I was answering the question above. Robert Plant has stated in the past and named American artistes as his influence. I don't like to get political about music as it depends on taste rather than culture etc.
We gonna have a Buzz..
Gotcha ! !
He meant he never consistently played with American musicians; ie- put a whole record out and tour.
Love the Song as well as Led Zeppelin:) DeniseX
"I've never been to bus before" .... :DDDDDDDDDD
You must not be a yank, eh? Alison Krauss is one of the finest performers alive. Check out her solo stuff.
when is that video ever going to be released????
A Brilliant Post....!!!

someone gave me shite for posting that. i'm glad to see someone agrees with me.
mate you are truly off your rocker.for the record page was into the occult not plant.

bob plant says he hadnt recorded with an american before this.thats is not true. cause he recorded with Tori Amos on "down by the seaside"a while ago.
He didn't tell the whole story here, about when he spoke with Allison that first time on the phone. She was trying to put the baby down to nap, and was whispering. Robert says, "I thought, man, this chick is far out. She's on Luudes or something. " *BWHAHA*
t bone on guitar

And doesn't Robert acclimate wonderfully to COWBOY BOOTS?
ok lets go through this bit by bit.yes everybody knows page was into the occult, had a shop, collects crowley material even bought his house etc.
the lyric is"from the door comes satans daughter
",though i dont know what that proves?
dirt from the crossroads..allegedly!..again
i dont see anything other than silly half truths...oh and the "object" on presense is just that.its not an occult object it was designed by hypgnosis especially for the album

the joke of interviews is "we're out of time" that's why joe rogan has taken over
Why do continue to sing zeppelin songs but then chose not to go back and sing the same songs with zeppelin
oh and alison krauss sounds nothing like aleister crowley in neither name nor nature.please research your subject.
Wouldn't say Allison was a man lol.
blah...bollocks..
regardless man,it's still just a bit feckin' lame...
ROBERT!!
dump the country chick
get back with zeppelin!
i can still hear it in your voicee you still got it
The attempt to improve old LED Zapplin music level by a top cast like Alison Krauss is not successful and for Alison Krauss, wasted time.
