@Anderson Cooper Haha of course he’s human in the literal sense, look how he has aged, he has had tragedy in his life, just as all of us have. When we say “god” it’s in terms of who they were in their accomplishments, and who they were within their genre. I first saw Zep when I was 15, and went on to see them 7 more times before the end, which for us in the US was ‘77. I’m a straight guy, but it was hard to take your eyes off him during a show, and there was a lot to watch in those days. He was ethereal, the look and hair, his charisma. He was electric, magnetic, dynamic, and physically a specimen. Add his talent and the body of work he has been responsible for, and you can see why many of us look at him as a very special entity. The idea is that when you roll all of those things together, within the rock genre he was the standard, the model for every front man to follow. He is, in that sense a god, and always will be to those of us whose lives he affected. Let us have our little altar to the Rock Gods. In this world we live in, it’s nice to have that little bit of comfort. Therefore he shall always and forever remain a “god” to me.

Writing songs in abstract, it triples the depth of the simplest message, it's missing in today's commercialized sold on a roll pile of mindless child jabber.
