0:48 This dude literally give up cracking an egg lol
And the woman just after found disgusting whiped eggs XD
another day of grammar being rekt
He's lucky that he's so cute...
Sometimes you can just tell whether a person will survive or not when society collapses.
@Sturgeon So just ignore the older woman that couldn't do it either?
1:41 *stirs flour broth*
"I think I added too much water"
Lmao!!! Congratulations! You just made my $hitty day wonderful!! Thank you!!
@array s it too liquidy to be batter lol
He actually said a "little " too much waster
0:48 is the same guy who grilled actual cheese and put it on toast and called it a grilled cheese......

The lady with the pixie cut with gray wisps and glasses always knows what she's doing.
Thats completely true
Zhanz J and the one guy and the asian Guy
She was a trainer at the same place that Frank (the level 3 chef) works, for 15 years apparently
Her RUclips is called “funny people making food”
Shes the all knowing. I like her
0:48 me procrastinating my science homework and never end up doing it.
sita alkhowaiter why science?
That's what I'm doing right now.
Do you know how to balance a ionic formula?
I need hel
Epicurious makes me simultaneously aware of how much and how little I know
I thi k most of them are common knowledge, but this one was a bit more advanced
1:10
Olive oil helps the dough come together
*has about 3 cups of water in a bowl*
Peter Düttmann yh but she had an egg in there too
"The oil makes it stick together... like glue"
I... what?
Yep, oil and water famously stick together, duh
And oils are never used for lubrication!
Exactly! That’s why you put oil in the pan, so everything sticks together well.
_Definitely not the opposite_
@Shirio :3 Sometimes white sandwich bread recipes call for a bit of oil because it leads to a bit more flavor and a denser crumb overall. I prefer butter much more though
@Shirio :3 Pasta dough almost always has oil. And in general it's a pretty common ingredient in bread. not as much in French style breads, but very common in other breads. Challah, focaccia, pita, often sandwich breads... just a few examples. Oil means the bread holds onto moisture better, and in cases like pizza means it's more resistant to getting soggy.
That man at 1:41:"perhaps ,i added a little bit too much water "
Me: seriously, , just a "little bit" too much water??
It looks like a fondue!
that's little bit for him
He made pancake batter.
Looked like it was perfect for pancakes (crêpes) though!
Why the hell is he whisking like that too? 😂
To be fair “dough” is very generalized
Nia Joelle I think they specified that they were making pasta dough.
Nia Joelle true, like they could make bread, pretzels, cookies plenty of things
@@strideyjr2845 but they didnt put it in the title, so its like a bit misleading because you can literally make any dough
When I think "dough" my brain goes straight to bread dough (hm, maybe I should make some bread, we're out of that) but then the title card specified pasta dough.
0:08 it literally says it there
Here's the issue:
Cookie dough
Pasta dough
Pizza dough
Bread dough
Other dough i cant think of
There needs to be some sort of specification
Specifically in the title. I agree completely.
If there is an egg, most of the time its pasta
It said pasta dough in the intro
In fairness, most of them didn't manage to make any of the possible options.
@@NotHPotter you know, thats fair, most of it had the consistency of cake batter
2:15
Why does he sounds like Google translator 😂
OMG
Jen kins xD
BAHAHAHAHAH
Water so funny
WATHERR
2:28 i swear she knows how to do everything
i know i like her more than the chef lol
The people wearing long sleeves while kneading the dough are giving me MAJOR anxiety😭💀💀
Chef's arms are sooo hairy (also he's wearing a watch)
I also feel that way when I see people with long hair just left loose. Roll your sleeves up and put your hair up.
*How to feel better about yourself 101*
1:51 the old lady cracked me up to the point I had to pause for the first time this series.
Ahahahahahahaha I love her
An Epicurious editor tries give this video a title and leaves out the word ‘Pasta’
There is only one kind of dough!
Devin Roberts so you use the same dough to make pasta, make homemade bread, and pizza??? That’s just sad honestly.
@@amalzuhair4495 I think it was a joke.
I hope someone got fired for that blunder!
0:01 Leonardo DiCaprio when he lost all his money
see when I hear dough I automatically think pizza dough
not that I know how to make that either lol
Yea I think bread not pasta lol
Basically this, but with yeast
I can make pizza dough, that's just flour, water, yeast and salt. Pasta has eggs and oil in the mix, though some people put a small amount of oil in pizza dough too there's never eggs in pizza dough. I just ate a homemade pizza 15 minutes ago.
I was thinking cookie dough or bread dough I can probably make some on the spot
Same XD
"How to make dough" starts trying to sell weed to the camera man.

1:42, too much water !!! Bro u turned the Flour into a soup 😂
"Oil makes things stick together" What? how do you even come to that conclusion? Oil would lubricate.
These people don't know how to juice a lemon. Or scramble eggs. I think we know how they got to that conclusion. :)
@@angelfreshey lol that juice one was my fav. the guy with the slap chop.
Or soft boil eggs
Or peel an egg
Tbf there are plenty of short doughs that use oil or fat as a binding agent. Essentially that's the idea behind the eggs as well, the fat in the yolks helps to bind it together.
There's egg pasta that's made only with flour salt eggs and oil....then there is the pasta made with only water...here in italy you dont mix water and egg bruh
I thought the same!
I thought the same!! Even the chef did it wrong.
Ooohh I never knew that. When I was studying culinary, the way we were taught to make pasta dough was 1 egg is to 1 cup of flour and 2 tbsp of water or until well combined
Gonna try that someday
I thought exactly the same!
Maj Ruby what type of flour ?
I just love how Ramsay is so friendly
I keep replaying the part where the clueless granny cries while mixing her dough. 😂 It's too funny. 1:51
1:05 her hair is goals 😍
"Perhaps I added a little bit too much water!"
Sistahhhhhh! No. That is an ocean. We swim! We drown! 😂
Oh god I am dead 🤣🤣🤣🤣
2:01 this lady scares me every time I watch these videos
2:03, the Asian guy always makes a good product
Its not that good
HappyLongNose it’s called sarcasm
He's also not that bad
Well dressed reliable food man (2:49) and pink and black stripe lady (3:04). They give me those 5 star full course family meal on a Sunday night vibe.
Logical Llama right?! The guy in the pink is also in the 4 levels videos and I want him to have a cooking show
"Well...I...it's interpretive." Hahahahahahahaha.
By my interpretation...sumpin' ain't been did right. 😂
"50 People Try to Open and Chop a Banana Flower"
Just an idea..:)
😂😂😂they'd be surprised that bananas have flowers. They dont know what basic fruits are, that's asking too much.
I’m waiting for them to include an “I’ve never tried this but I’ve seen it done on RUclips before” level person
1:06 Yeah, oil makes a great glue. When you see oil the first thing you think is sticky.
I freaking love this!! Omg u see the ppl who have no clue wat they are doing, then the ppl who do plus the actual chef omg love it!
100 grams of type 00 flour, one whole egg. Mix and knead. chill 20 minutes, roll and form. The standard Italian egg pasta dough
They made it so much more complicated than it needed to be
Oh my, what have Americans done to pasta dough? They made it so much more complicated than they needed to. Imma stick with this recipe..
1:38 congrats your product looks more like scrambled egg
If he kept kneading it, it'd become normal.
I literally gasped when they just started pouring in all that water. Like...it hit me in the soul. 😂
You are very well spoken and respectful! Thank you! You are refreshing! Good day
Me before I clicked: "Making dough. How wrong can they make it?"
Me after: "Oh... "
I didn't realize making dough was this easy!! Omg I wanna do it!

FINNALY A NEW UPLOUD!
ITS BEEN LIKE 2 WEEKS!
Always so fun to watch 😂
I just love the 2:22 lady on every video,
She always nails it !
This makes me feel smart and powerful.
The Grandma is so dramatic and I love it! 😂😂
this has to be the funniest episode yet ong
Why do I feel happy when I watch these people ? 😊
Anton and the woman with glasses showing everyone once again how it's done! Like A Boss!
Finally a video I can relate to
when you watch enough cooking videos that you're confident you could do this
These videos make me feel more smart about how to make food
Tbh making dough is kinda hard.. you win this time Epicurious
Hey Bobby I see you !!!😂😂😂would Chef be proud of that dough? lol
I’m 1:46 lol giving eye contact as I f*** things up 😂😂
Viewers on an easy thing: OMG So easy!! Tell them to pour a glass of water!! Where do you find these people?
Viewers on something they actually don't know: Yeah but that's really broad. It could be a lot of things.
I think it's more an issue with the title of the video, "50 People Try to Make Dough".
What do you do with your dough?
You could have to put yeast or other things in the dough which could make it harder.
You're actually not supposed to add water to a pasta dough...
reece wynne Sure you can. There's more than one way to make things
The grandma is always my favorite person
The dude cracking egg makes my self feel better sometimes
Italians are shooketh.
lol i love these vids
All the beginning people to these videos make me want to go run into traffic. But thank god the second part redeems humanity.
Thats much more fun to see when you know how to make pasta and actually make it almost every weekend...
Okay at least they shared their thought process while making the dough and they knew what they were doing wrong instead of being like "lmao wtf am i doing"
0:47 is actually my mood currently.
Haha so relatable~
Finally an actual challenge
Goodness it's such a relief to see people who know how to make pasta dough 💀
1:51 There's the grandma no one ever wanted to go to for dinner
1:51 I LOVE HER 😂
You could probably replace the pro chef with the lady with the pink sweater. She knows how to do everything some how
cool tip : drop by their home's when they're cooking, prolly will get content for ages 😂
They obviously never cook at home
I like how they go from making dough or filleting a fish to opening wine 🤣
this video makes me feel secure
This is actually one of the tougher things to make
I applaud everyone here, because I might be a little stumped. I'm sure some folks do this often enough to it from memory, but even they learned from a guide, whether a recipe or mom/grandma/other person. This is a wee bit beyond peeling something or making a pb&j sandwich. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Though I have to say to Mr. "Let's come back to the egg"- whAT?
1:50 is so relatable lol
1:42
The guy:perhaps I added a bit too much water
Me: you think?
finally one of these I can relate to. Also I would never refer to pasta ingredients as "dough".
I need to show this to my mom.
I'm 18 and this makes me feel really good about myself.
I never use eggs, except it is sweet dough for cakes.
one of them should've brought out some money and be like "done"
This is probably my favorite video because none of them really know what they are doing😂
I love the chef
Dough make me watch dis!🙈
Next video (tutorial) : 50 people trying to put water in a glass 😂😂
Stolen like 50 times
Man stirring soup "Perhaps I added a little bit too much water"
Put some flour on the counter (don't know the amount necessary, probably around 1 cup)
Create a well in the center of the flour
Crack an egg in a separate bowl
BEAT IT ~ BEAT IT ~ BEAT IT ~ BEAT IT ~
Put the egg in the well
Incorporate the egg slowly in the flour (please don't do a mess)
Incorporate some water
Mix the dough until it looks smooth
(i feel that it doesn't need to rest since it doesn't have any yeast...maybe i'm wrong)
Roll it into the desired shape
Cut it
Cook it for 2 minutes (fresh noodles cooks real fast)
Damnit, I forgot the SALT.
Plus i don't need to crack the egg in a separate bowl...:(
but i still BEAT IT~
I learned making dough on the counter, the fun way
2:17 the guy literally just remembered he forgot water
*You all made a great Job!* 😝
2:28 this lady is literally the best.
LOL. No one did it right, even the Chef
Tomzecat ‘chef.’ The fact he’s a culinary instructor makes me cringe.
one of my culinary instructors explained it to me like this: as long as there’s flour, whatever you add to it makes some sort of dough, so as long as the prompt was just “dough”, technically none of these are that far off
**dough or batter
"and you know it's done when you taste it and........ Feels like pasta!🙂
I don’t know how to make pasta dough but i was literally laughing at those people who doesn’t know how to as well 😂😂😂😂😂
They should do all of their professional chefs make their best recipe. And get all your food scientists to taste and judge it
