The Suicide Squad is pretty great. We enjoyed it. Doesn't mean it's free of sin though.
Thursday: Christmas sins.
Remember, no movie is without sin. Which movie's sins should we count next?

Fun fact: Some people believe that Cinema Sins is a serious channel and believes in the sins it makes.
I gotta agree with them on this. Harley taking a bite of that apple and staring into the camera, during a slowmo hero shot, was definitely a galaxy sized middle finger aimed directly at cinema sins.
Should have removed a sin for how freaking funny it was it hear Weasel screaming as Waller deadpans. One of the funniest scenes in the whole movie. Definitely agree about Starro's final line though, that was unexpectedly tragic.
I'm disappointed that there was no sin removal for the "That's your mom!" line during the Starro fight. That was honestly a great climax for Polka Dot Man's character.
Starro's last line broke my heart, was not expecting it to hit so hard. This movie was so much fun!
How dare you! King Shark making fish "friends" was one of the most wholesome scenes in this movie
Starro’s last words will forever be one of the best villain lines ever
CinemaSins:
The fact that Waller's office "team" isn't shown dead in a comical montage at the end of the film with their new replacements taking their place is legit the SINGLE problem I had with this movie.
My only issue. Daniela Melchior deserved a sin off for her performance as Ratcatcher 2. The soul she brought to that character and the fact that this was her first English speaking role, a sin removal was more than deserved.
This movie seems like a love letter to cinema sins. Or a kick in the groin. I'm not really sure, I just know it's perfect.
Bloodsport was also in Prometheus, so him going to the Prometheus school of running away from things is legit.
I thoroughly enjoyed this movie
I come for the sins. I stay for the sin removal.
regarding the drowning bit, its actually dangerous to try and grab someone while they are still flailing, they are just as likely to "climb" you and push you under, if you don't have a flotation device for them your supposed to wait for them to stop flailing.
"... you wouldn't be able to go to f*cking Walmart without bumping into one of those bastards reverse engineering Twinkies to travel back in time to poison Churchill." is a
"Also, Discount Nathan Filio- HOLY SHIT!"
Glad a sin was removed for that final line from Starro. Makes him a more tragic character as he was basically ripped from his natural habitat in space and turned into a research subject/weapon for humanity to abuse. Honestly the only character I felt bad for when they died. Also Boomerang.
The movie wasn't perfect, but I think we all can agree that James Gunn really has this superhero shit figured out. First GOTG, now this, the guy seems to be particularly good with ensembles.
