Unboxing my first ever Dior bag! in Paris!! 🥹 {Dior Saddle Bag & Shoulder Strap}

- On my second last day in Paris during my honeymoon, I took a big leap of faith and headed down to one of the Dior stores at St. Honoré. I've been eyeing the Saddle bag for more than a year now.. If I don't get it while in Europe, I'll surely be regretting :/
I knew for sure that I didn't want a leather Saddle; I wanted something super low maintenance. There are many embroidery designs but the Oblique design is not only classic, but pretty much "dirt proof" (as in you won't be able to tell even if it gets dirty haha). I was contemplating between Grey and Blue, but Grey was out of stock.. So that left me with only one option.
I was also initially considering to get the mini size, but oh dear, it was not very usable :( I couldn't even properly fit my iPhone13 in it. So medium size became a clear choice (3100€).
I also loved the streetwear look when the bag is carried as a crossbody with an additional shoulder strap. I eventually went for the thick strap in matching embroidery design (890€), cuz I really loved the stark contrast in thickness with the existing strap. It was an expensive buy, and sadly, it hasn't gotten much mileage. I'm a petite Asian (160cm); the strap is a lil too long for me. I should've went with my instincts at the store when I was trying it on. But I caved in to the salesperson's preach (& my own greed of course).
The bag itself is perfect though. It has been my everyday-bag ever since I've gotten it. Love it so much. Versatile, comfy, stylish and very light compared to the Chanel classics haha. Super low maintenance too.
Managed to get a 12% tax rebate at the airport right before departure at the self-help counter. The process is fuss-free!
