There's a military museum in the next town to me and the owner claims the MG 42 in the case is genuine, it obviously isn't because it's far too small but she won't have it.
I've not been to a militaria show for years, there used to be a good one in Birmingham (uk) at the motorcycle museum, i'v collected militaia for year's, unfortunately army surplus shops are becoming a rare breed 💂♂️
Honestly it looks like the usual selection of fake/repro tat, common genuine items, overpriced deacts and general car boot stuff. Malvern isn't a patch on what it used to be.
Video was not a good representation of what was there. There was some really nice stuff and I’m afraid the deacs are no longer over priced. It’s what you will expect to pay wherever you go although there are still some good deals to find. And for the price you pay (£7 pp) it really isn’t that bad compared to some of the other shows (stonleigh) and I came out with more items for my collection.
I hear a lot of goofy things about the UK like you cant have German WW2 stuff with the N stuff on it and you cant have modern firearms especially semi auto stuff but Im seeing tables full of firearms off all types and death heads gallore! Someone explain please?
Hi, it’s frowned upon by the general public but not illegal. I wouldn’t advise goose stepping down the street in full SS though 😅 Guns wise, the Uk is full of grey areas. You can buy a repro bazooka without any sort of affiliated license but you cannot buy a replica firearm like a Denix. I’m pretty sure you can buy deac without too, but not a airsoft gun without a UKARA (except for the painted ones) you have to be 18 to buy a kitchen knife or a razor blade but fine to go to a garden store and buy an axe. 🤷♂️
@@OfficialEpicMilitaria Im in the USA. We have mostly gun shows out here which the firearms are good but the military collectibles are a toss up. Sometimes you get some great stuff but other times nothing. I missed out on some WW2 Imperial Jap Army stuff that I should of got when I could. Best advice I can give is get the stuff when you can dont blow it off!
I want to be there
HI Grand Admiral Thrawn. You would have loved it, it's always a great show. I would highly recommend. They do another show in Stoneleigh too.

They are, these shows are great and really seem to be keeping it all going. We deal mainly in reproduction for reenactors, movies and TV etc
I am very happy to have just bought some genuine ex swiss navy clogs! And a couple of genuine ex Congolese navy deckchair!😂
All of the necessary stuff haha. Some real good finds there!!
Malverne Long Island, N.Y.?

No unfortunately we cannot travel that far for these shows. In Worcestershire, UK.

Hi, yeah it's a minefield of caution here in the UK, it's a mad balance of law, morality and common sense. What's it like where you are?
