I am pretty sure that WWII and especially the German relics are so popular because of rhetoric design, the colours, the symbols and moreover, the fear that it creates. It’s incredible how psychologically this items are just addictive when looking at them
A treasure of unspeakable value. Both gentleman are knowledgeable and don't worry about the accent, you English is much better than my Russian and Italian.
@ agree, and on top of that it seems too big to have belonged to HH, but this wasn't my only concern…..but it's better that I keep quiet about these people 🤐
These people are the best In the world and I believe these tunics have been pictured and documented down the line, most of the people buying these items are extremely intelligent collectors and expect iron clad documents for these items.
Incredible Himmer tunic. Saw it on WAF. Odd that its dated 38, read the white summer tunics were introduced in the summer of 1939, and basically only ever worn then. Could've been tailored before then, in 1938. SSTV collar tabs with the Sturm or Sturmbann number I believe were just ''NCO'' tabs. Enlisted wore bare skulls, for the early field grey uniforms. On the black uniforms that didn't apply. Embroidered skulls for the field grey uniforms, aluminum for the black uniforms.
18:10 That is a light weight Allgemeine SS training tunic! *extremely* rare. Not VT. Yes, Allgemeine SS was a branch, and not the color of the uniforms. The value of Delich's collection is out of this world.
@@Sean-cz77 It is true that the SS-VT was not completely under control of the OKW(in the field) like its successor, the Waffen-SS was. Yet, it was still never a paramilitary organisation. From the beginning on it was created to fight in a war, and every member who joined the SS-VT was officially a Soldier, absolving their Wehrpflicht. They werent very good Soldiers, as seen in the early campaigns, but soldiers nontheless. And the Totenkopfverbände were also not paramilitary, but officially created for all sorts of police tasks. But as we know, they only were used for one task, guarding the concentration camps. The Allgemeine SS on the other hand of course was paramilitary, they were a civilian organisation of the NSDAP while having uniforms and a military rank structure.
The collar tabs on Himmler's tunic is not limited to Himmler! In fact Artur Axman ,the leader of Hitler jugend has the same collar tabs as the Reichsführer, tough Axman didn't wore an SS uniform
It was an obergruppenfuehrer uniform not a gruppenfuehrer. No pip brigadefuehrer, 1 pip gruppen, 2 pips ober gruppen, 3 pips oberstgruppenfuerer, wreath reichsfuehrer ss.
does anybody have a idea how many item of the Waffen SS General Major and SS Brigadeführer Gustav Krugenberg there still are left till this day? and how much his SA beltbuckle and beltloops would be worth? as i should have those two (three as there are two beltloops) items of the General major from his time in the SA (1932-33) as a Propaganda minister and funkkomissar... why do i think its his? because my great grandfather and his brothers had good connections to Gustav, even after the war, and as my great grandfather was a Waffen SS Sturmmann in the 2nd grenadier regiment of the Prinz Eugen division from 43-44 and his brothers were a Wehrmacht Unteroffizier and a Oberfeldwebel Fahnenjunker (both only fought till ´42 as one lost his leg and the other one died in leningrad...) ,and to my knowlege, he didn´t know other SA members... atleast not personaly (though their father was a member of the NSDAP and ww1 veteran as a pioneer of the 246th regiment with the EK1, but i doubt that he got it from there... if anybody wants to see a picture of it, then idk i guess hit me up and i will send ya a picture of it)
It's interesting how the tunic design between the lower ranks and the higher-ups stays the same, but the quality is where the difference is

the accents are just fine! great video, I enjoyed it and learned some new things! thank you!

Himmler summer tunic wow, it couldn't be better! Well, Herman Goering's uniform was 10 points nicer, I personally think.
Donate the items to a museum for documentation purposes, perhaps in Munich or Berlin.
Donate them to my bedroom closet. To my house. \○

Yes, and the SS-VT wasnt a paramilitary organization, it was a military organization.
@@Lev259 Nah I'd basically consider the entire SS paramilitary, until they became divisionally sized and more or less became part of the Wehrmacht
