If floor space is big enough I could see a full size uniformed manikin to go along with the various sections. The flags are a great way to understand who would have carried a certain item for a person who is very knowledgeable. A soldier model would tell the story to a greater audience. What an amazing collection and how it is organized and displayed is probably the nicest I have seen. Thanks for showing us that.
Greetings Alex, I have just seen this vlog, at time hack 8:04 you can see a U-505 pennant, this is amazing as the real U-505 is in the Museum of Science and Industry in Chicago after it was captured June 1944. This room is almost as nice as mine! All the best, cheers.
Hello Alex, Words fail me right now, early in the morning! Did I understand correctly ….this is the real Himmler anniversary or Birthday Degen of Jakob Grimminger …. The Bearer of the blood flag? Please it would be very interesting for me to know what the owner and your friend of this dreamlike collection, as (Russian..) the intention behind it is? Or rather his story, how he came to the decision, with the background of Russian history and maybe also his Family History behind it to create this collection!
Ridiculous Collection. Easily the best I have ever seen. Please show the etched degen and also ecthed bajonetts. Is he Nürnburg HJ Knife actually real? I heard they are considered fantasy by some in the hobby
Isn’t the Swastika regarded as an illegal symbol in modern day Germany? If this stuff was ever ‘given back to Germany’ as you suggest, none of it would ever see the light of day ever again. Somewhat paradoxically, the worst place in the modern world for Third Reich antiquities, is Germany.
I mean i understand historical preservation and everything. I just dont understand why someone would want to collect memorabilia from a genocidal organization that murdered millions of people based on their ethnic origin. 😅 Im nott trying to be agro i genuinely would like to know. PS. absolutely insane collection kudos to the curator theyve done a fantastic job.
@@jeffsquires6620 I can definitely understand that. Purely for historical significance. I can get behind that. I don't think any ideology should be forgotten even the bad ones. Like you said how're we going to make good decisions moving forward if we don't remember the poor decisions of the past. PS. What do you mean Hitler and Napoleon made the same mistake? I'd love to hear your perspective. Seems like you have a greater understanding of history than me and I respect that.

@@pauldeegan6652 thats true, it should be in a Museum and not in Russia.
