Naas is one of the best Extreme Metal musicians out there by far, that man can't do wrong. Very glad to see him once again.

When The Dreaming I came out, I was a senior in high school and this was the first I've heard from Akhlys and I've loved the music ever since! Melinoe is amazing as well and I can't wait for the new album if some time this year or next year we'll hear some new nightmarish music from Akhlys that would be awesome, hail!!

I've been following your podcast for nearly a year now (besides the fact I've already followed you and your band many years ago on Instagram before I deleted all the social media I had back then) and man, I have to say that your contents are always deeply inspiring and of quality/value; even when you revisit arguments of the past you do that in a new light and perspective. I'm grateful for the great food you provide for the minds of us listeners and I thanks the other artists to take the time to make this great work happen.
    Totally support to you! 🔥

Great podcast! I'm halfway through, yet there are a lot of great topics discussed in this conversation, much like the previous episode with Naas.
It's always a treat to listen to Naas interviews, since he always delivers deep conversations.
And of course, I'm really excited for the next Akhlys album. The concept looks fantastic!
Also I have to mention that these last couple podcasts were top tier! Especially the ones with Simon (#68), DG and Wraath (#65) and Necroshorns (#66).
The one with Parsa Garrett where you guys discussed the geopolitics and history of Iran was quite interesting too. It was great to listen to your experiences living in that type of country.
I always prefer to listen to the people who experience in real life the consequences of this sort of government, instead of the opinion of the mainstream media.
I was gonna write a long ass comment for every one of this episodes, however my english skills are quite limited (as you can see...), so I just wanna "stay simple" haha
Anyway, keep up the good work Shayan! 🔥🤘

These interviews hold so much value. Naas deserves his respects for sure, but your interview style is worlds better than pretty much 90% of other interviewers styles. They feel like actual discussions that go somewhere, as opposed to the typical interview style that kind solely focuses on the technical aspects of music. (musical influences, song writing, general influences and the like)
Those interviews have their place for sure, and it’s not a knock against any other interviewer, but I wish more had that ability to dig deeper into a topic with a person and really bring out a sense of who the person is, like two old friends talking.

Much appreciated - this is exactly why I do these guest episodes, and Naas (Kyle) is no doubt one of the best and most fluid guests who I've had the pleasure of speaking to on the show.
      Glad you enjoyed it!
