Great tutorial. I'd highly recommend drybrushing with some highlight color like a bright brown after applying washes. It's an easy step to get back most of the details and making the models pop a bit after darkening them with the wash.

Sub the citadel wash with an oil wash and this would really pop.

It’s a good paint-scheme.
I have my own way of painting, but it is nice to see some person going for a more difficult paint scheme rather then the usual grey tome skaven with green blades I have seen lately going around.
What’s the name of the clan you’ll be playing as? (Its more of a lore question rather then that of a gameplay)
There’s a more difficult scheme? 😂 honeslty this was the most basic scheme I could think of.
And I know this is bad, but I don’t really have a clan, I just thought purple kind of rocked on Skaven. I do have the most recent book tho and it’s on my pile of reading 👍, so I might decide on one I like soon

I have other things on my painting desk right now. For instance I have some gloomspire gitz for dnd, I also have Nagash, the big new model, and then about 4000 pts of heresy blood angels, but I can absolutely aim to get the seige engines out soon
