    Nice video. Can you tell me the colour & thickness of the Projector screen.
    Recently I bought a White Silk Projector Screen & I found it very thin and picture not looking bright, also the projector light passing through the screen and I can see the other picture frame which was hanging on the wall behind.

    • @vdxplorer
      @vdxplorer  4 дня назад +1

      @SSUKBD Projection doesn't cross on these kinds of screens. They kind of reflect back to source direction. That's why this is a very bright screen. But keep in mind, these screens dont have a bigger viewing angle. You need to sit in line with projection

      I think you should not compare this product with ALR screens. This is economical solution.
      That being said, if you are not much worried about viewing angle like me, go for reflective screens.

    • @vdxplorer

      If there is no light, color can be done. But if you are creating seperate room for this, and if budget permits, go for ALR screens with gain of more than 1.5
      For econimical solution, I would still prefer reflective screen if viewing angle is not an issue purely because of clarity, contrast and brightness

    Instead of all these screen making can't we use plain normal white wall for projecting?

    • @acswain6720
      @acswain6720 2 года назад +1

      You won't be able to watch projections during daytime on a white/painted wall. Even diffused light is too much for regular/low cost projectors. These reflective material screens work on daytime by reflecting maximum of the light back in a straight line and the ambient light (bulbs, diffused sunlight etc) has lesser effect on the projected image. But, the biggest drawback is, as clearly said by the uploader himself, that the viewing angle is very narrow, within a small margin of 15-20 degrees both horizontally and vertically. Meaning, practically your head must be next to the projector. So not good for family and friends gathering enjoying videos in spaced out sitting arrangements. Good for one or two people sitting clumped together next to the projector on either side.
