- I have seen a few people say that the Porsche 992 GT3 RS is "overrated". Are they on to something or is it just people trying to oppose the status quo? Let's compare it to the previous 991.2 Ten and see which comes out on top. Also, maybe more importantly, I have hit run-in mileage (938 Miles) so it is time for 9000 RPM! Launch control, here I come 😂

Great video comparing the 2 generations. I recently purchased a 991.2 gt3 rs and I couldn’t be happier. I LOVE the car, and I love the 992. Neither car is overrated, prices for 992 are super high right now because it’s the best at what it aims to accomplish in my opinion, making the price more understandable. Watched the entire video thanks for making!

New gt3rs just looks like a complete race car. Most beautiful porsche design ever excluding the million dollar special additions like the rennsport .. what a car.
To me 997 GT3rs with manual shifter is the ultimate GT3rs. Perfect for country sides road and magnificent on tracks. The car looks so clean and sporty at the same time and you can enjoy the GT3rs with manual shifts. Chef kiss. I feel like the new 911 S/T will be a propers driver car too.

Great review, I have spent a lot of time in porsche sports cars, owned more than 20 (excluding Cup cars). The differences between the 991.2 GT3 RS and 992 GT3 RS are surprisingly small and only really come to light on larger fast circuits where the aero is more effective (down force is proportional to velocity squared). My personal feeling is the 991.2 GT3 RS is the better road car and the 992 GT3 RS is the marginally better track car. The difference is so small, if you run the the 991.2 GT3 RS on Cup2 R and the 992 GT3 RS on Cup 2, the 991 will be quicker. PS you can see how close they are if you log them round a track. Also, I have never warmed to the 992 interior, it could be from any other higher spec german car add the fact there is no frunk and I didn't feel the juice was worth the squeeze and ended up keeping my 991.2 GT3 RS and getting into a Nero 296 GTB. My personal view is the 992 GT3 RS was a stop gap car planned and executed through COVID but with a hybrid build in mind for the series 2. PPS we're luck to enjoy any of these car - most will never have that opportunity. Vey much enjoyed your thoughtful well balanced presentation.

I have a GT3 992 , I have had a lot of cars and currently own a hurracan techinca also, I have had all the fast German saloons and I can honestly say the GT3 is the best thing on wheels I've ever driven , the sound and gear change is like nothing else, the 510bhp is plenty it's rapid as only 1400kg, 0-60under 3 seconds on every launch and 1/4 mile in 10.8 just watch car wow review to back me up, it leaves pretty much everything you come accoss in the dust
Nice version but rocket 900 is available also on market and techart have good upgrade 😊
Black one ( not my colour choice) looks much better for not having so much ex stream aero, rear wing like these OTT on a road car, previous models with wing rising up from boot much neater.

992 GT3 RS is way better in every way, if you’ve actually driven both the new one is so much sharper and more focused than the already brilliant 991 3RS
There’s a THOUSAND videos of the GT3RS on RUclips, so, plenty of choice, this one has SOOOOO many ads (pure greed) so it just got switched off. 👎
