Thank you Mr. Irons-have shared for our Greater Windsor Horticultural Society.FB group. We celebrated our 60th year as a society in 2012, having a commemorative planting of a Dawn Redwood on the Windsor, Ontario Riverfront. We read "Why Do We Plant" by Henry Abbey. We are fighting our own government battle at this time as the Port Authority is threatening to buy a strip of waterfront that is a Natural Habitat with a First Nation's burial site, to use it as a storage area.
