I really wish I had the chance to see this many years ago. This is a movie that truly deserves a sequel. "It's true, Chad. You're half-hillbilly."

I worked on this movie in the camera department and I can tell you that out of all the movies that I have done, this one comes up all the time. It has a cult following and we had a blast filming it. Very low budget film but the story was solid and people really seem to get the comedy in it along with the characters. "Are you okay?" Has me crying I'm laughing so hard, every time I watch it. It's okay to laugh! You're supposed to. It's a horror comedy and it's perfectly done.
One of my favorite lines from this is when Alan goes "ohh he's cracklin' like a log!'. Gets me every time. And the woodchipper scene had me laughing to tears the first time I saw it. Such a fun movie.
Favorite line is we need to hide all the sharp objects. Its oddly sweet even though its not intentional that they thinking about protecting the college kids from harming themselves.
You've come a LONG way. Being able to laugh at the humor behind the horror is a big step. 🥳 My dear, sweet grandmother died when I was very, very young, and I have trouble remembering her voice... but I remember her laugh anytime someone would suffer a minor accident, like stubbing their toe or hitting their head or the like. Sometimes, when things are bad or go wrong, the only thing you can do is laugh, get up off the floor, and get back to living your life.
I showed this film to my wife and now sometimes if I'm having a bad day she'll be like "did some college kids start killing themselves all over our property" and it never fails to crack me up
"That was a weirdly, horrifyingly good time." EXACTLY When I first watched this, for some reason I thought it was "Tucker and Dale vs. THE Evil". I can't decide if that would be a better or worse title. Anyway...I love this film. So funny, and uncomfortably gory.
What a great reaction to one of my favorite movies. I love how it turns traditional horror movies around and laughs at the whole premise. My favorite line is always when Dale says, "I shoulda known that if a guy like me talked to a girl like you, somebody'd end up dead." But Tucker frantically asking, "Are you OK?" is a close second.
Not Jack Black, Tyler Labine, who is also hilarious. He was in a short-lived show called Reaper which was actually quite funny, mostly Tyler's character.

Movie-sheltered as you are, I think you represent the best in all of us sometimes, Cassie. I think that's why I watch you, because in my heart you're like a little sister. Much love.
Great reaction! I had a blast watching you! There is a special version on the Blu-Ray. They edit out all of the stuff that shows us that Dale and Tucker are innocent and the movie plays like a slasher film and is kind of scary. They call it "Dale and Tucker ARE Evil."
I almost choked to death on my popcorn from laughing so hard! Those kids were a danger to each other! It looked like Dale’s friend ended up with someone else’s fingers! 🤣🤣🤣
Cassie trying not to laugh at the gruesome deaths was so adorable and funny at the same time 😂❤. The battle between her anglel conscience and her devil sides funny bones, that pretty well sums up people reaction to this movie, had the exact same guilt reaction at peeing myself laughing how they die. Great horror comedy 👍
«What a doozie of a day.» The yeet into the wood chipper was hilarious. I love this movie, because it has heart. Love Tucker and Dale and your reaction.
I also feel that you'd love The Final Girls. It's a sweet horror comedy about the daughter of an 80's horror movie actress getting literally stuck in one of her mom's Friday the 13th style movies.

So this movie. It never would have made my watch list if I hadn't gone to a convention in Dallas. We went to a panel with Nathan Fillion and Alan Tudyk. Nathan mentioned that his favorite thing Alan had ever done was Tucker and Dale vs Evil. We had never heard of it, but we watched it as soon as we got home. I've done my best to get other people to watch it ever since. It's dumb, but it's brilliant. Everyone in the cast is spot on. I watch it every Halloween. I'm not big on scary movies, either.
When I first watched this film, I didn't have any clue as to what it was about. I, a rational human being and lover of stories and pantomime, raged at the injustice and waste of life. It had a rare happy ending for that period. However, it is still medical malpractice by the surgeon to have attached that finger to that hand. I'm sure all was well and nothing was missed. There's a pulp sci-fi novel with a hero-ish character with two left hands because of reasons. I don't know why a single finger reminds me of that but it does so here it is written. I have learnt to my personal and professional benefit to listen before speaking. To understand before acting. And re-act only when necessary. It's not an easy skill to learn and it takes learning other skills too like patience and empathy but if we could all try to be more like Dale, planet Earth would be awesome.
It's completely OK to laugh at "Are you okay?". It's one of the funniest lines of any movie. I cried at that line the first half dozen times I saw this movie.
This movie is definitely one worth rewatching. With a better understanding of the tone I'm sure some of the scenes will hit differently and there are many details that are easy to miss initially.
Thought you were going to "watch it wrong" for a second. So glad you had fun. I did too. Tucker and Dale seem to get better every time I watch it. It's gonna be a classic.
I feel that you'd love the movie Spring. It's about an American guy in Italy who falls for a beautiful but mysterious woman. It's like a really well written and sweet romance with a great atmospheric horror movie.
I hadn't noticed this before but it was funny how Tucker hide behind the tree trunk just like the girl in Chad's story, and Chad found him just like the hillbilly in the story found the girl.
It's okay. It's okay to laugh at ridiculous things. But I have to admit, the horror with the stifled laughing...that's just uniquely funny. It's why I love watching your reactions.
The Frighteners was also in the poll you mentioned and you said it's the one you voted for so are you going to watch it as well? It's been awhile since I watched it but I remember liking it a lot.
She's got a great set ... Of bowling fingers! 😂😂 Love this movie, so happy to see you watching it. I'm at the start of the video and I think you'll love it. I went into it completely blind and I'm so glad I did. At first I was thinking, oh no, this is gonna be a trashy, run of the mill slasher ... 😂 God, I love this movie. "He's making her dig her own grave". How could you not laugh at this movie? The writing is genius. Visual gags, great script, turned the whole genre on its head.
This was such a good movie I felt. A film set in my home state of WV (though apparently filmed in Canada). Pokes fun at the "backwoods redneck" trope in a comedic but gruesome fashion. Pretty much anything with Alan Tudyk is great.

I'm actually stoked to see her watch this movie. hahaha Such a great movie, and I think she'll love it.
This is one of my favorites. Especially when tucker tries to explain what's going on to the sheriff.
It's completely OK to laugh at "Are you okay?". It's one of the funniest lines of any movie. I cried at that line the first half dozen times I saw this movie.
LOVE how you feel guilty about laughing at the ridiculousness of the situation
This movie is definitely one worth rewatching. With a better understanding of the tone I'm sure some of the scenes will hit differently and there are many details that are easy to miss initially.
Wash could never be a bad guy. He is too lovable in all of his roles
Thought you were going to "watch it wrong" for a second. So glad you had fun. I did too. Tucker and Dale seem to get better every time I watch it. It's gonna be a classic.
So glad you got to watch this brilliantly twisted, gory, funny, and sweet movie!!! Love you show!
"A weirdly, horrifying, good time" is a perfect way to describe this movie lol. I don't know whether to look away or laugh my butt off.
I feel that you'd love the movie Spring. It's about an American guy in Italy who falls for a beautiful but mysterious woman. It's like a really well written and sweet romance with a great atmospheric horror movie.
Alan Toodee and Jack Black really were amazing in Dale & Tucker vs Evil 😊
I hadn't noticed this before but it was funny how Tucker hide behind the tree trunk just like the girl in Chad's story, and Chad found him just like the hillbilly in the story found the girl.
Ever since my husband and I first saw this, whenever we've had rough work days, we greet each other with "Officer, I've had a doozy of a day." 😂
With everything Tucker went through, he has every right to have that beer while high on meds
Absolute gem and I thought you’d appreciate it even more that it’s a Calgary film
I am so glad you laughed throughout this whole movie. This was comedic gold when it released.
1:17 ... Aaaaaand Tyler Labine's heart breaks immediately.
That's the power of laughter. A good joke makes you laugh even when you don't think you should.
Tyler Labine is brilliant.
this was a great reaction...the humor hit hard
Even if Cass refuses to say his name! 😉
Such an underrated movie, a horror story but through the looking glass darkly. Innocent with the appearence of malice, misdirection and misunderstandings. Thanks cassie, you picked a good one
27:42 The "are you ok" scene is funny as shit. You should have let yourself laugh more haha.
You would never think a legendary line like “I should have known if a guy like me talked to a girl like you somebody would end up dead” would be in a goofy movie like this lol but it is. One of my favorite lines in any movie ever..👌🔥
He's a leaf on the wind..😉😊
Oh my gosh, I completely forgot about this movie! It's such a funny film 😂
“Are you okay?” Best line of the movie.
