that steel a creakin' when engine going over the bridge, and the zoom out at the end was fantastic.
Like everyone I loved the shot on the bridge; the Alco looks good everywhere. Wonder when thay re-letter if they.ll keep the same paint.
From what I read, they're gonna leave the paint as is for a while because of the condition of the paint. I am hoping they re-letter and re-number it soon though.
Cool the Maryland and Delaware Railroad has a RS3M. Alco in New York state good fit.
Nice footage Matty!
Thanks a lot!
That was a cool opening shot. Great drone shots too. I think the conductor was having a little too much fun approaching that bridge. I think she's a keeper.
Just a little lol. I was wondering what he was doing. I figured maybe he was stretching at first, until he held that position lol. Thank you very much! Yeah she's gonna be a great addition, though I'm gonna miss the center cab doubleheaders.
Love the shot at 6:50 of the diesel on the bridge. Great work!
Thank you very much!
Nice coverage of the power transition on the A&A.
I see they have a modern General Electric Dynamic brake grid box . When this was rebuilt, did they go with a 251F V-12 too so they could get 2000 ponies under the hood ?
4:25 "Church Street" and some church bells chime.
Can't wait to see her in orange!
I'm actually hoping they leave it black and paint all the yellow orange. Kinda like an homage to #14!
@@mattygunn693 That would be pretty awesome too, but don't forget 18! She holds and special place in my heart because she was the first steam locomotive I ever rode behind, on the first train excursion I ever rode!
Didn't know the wny&p serviced the A&A(?)
They don't, A&A bought 406 from the WNYP.
Capable locomotive with a great sounding prime mover. Are the center cabs being sold to other interested parties?
No, they'll be running the weekend excursion trains and the smaller freight runs.
@@mattygunn693 that's good to know.
Do you know if it's getting repainted?
Yeah it's getting repainted, however the railroad has yet to mention when or what scheme they'll be going with.
