the entire last season is a testament to what Ten Haag can achive with a decent and available squad. United had one of the best deffences in the League last season. The massive drop off is impossible to pin on just Ten Hag, especially since it was largely thanks to him United had such a good deffense last season.

@@joet5901 never said that you didn’t have one but it’s not one you can compare to the likes of Newcastle and Chelsea the United back line has been riddled with injuries but to blame it on that is shameful when the same has happened with not just one section of the team Chelsea has had every player in the current best 11 injured besides 2 players that’s not including players like Reece James fofana nkunku and every backup option In the midfield that all played less then 90 minutes combined with every defensive player just like united has been injured at one point to the point you could make a solid injured starting 11 that would be mistaken for the real starting 11 Newcastle hasn’t had any of there main guys for most of this season they have had to use the backup keeper all season that back line has been ruined by injuries just as much as the United back line they have kids and loans starting every week they have only recently got the main 3 midfielders and have been player with a under 21 midfield all season and have had winger Matt Richie who’s a 34 yr old winger playing in the 9 at one point because both strikers have been injured and there only goal scorer for most of the season has been carrying injuries.
United fans don’t realise that they have it bad but teams have it much worse you’ve had injuries but you’ve not had so many first team all at the same time in every position just the defence
