My cousin is also an officer of Bucor. When I visited him and we were shooting in the shooting range inside the prison, the inmates were the one reloading our guns. The thing is, the guards has inmates that they trust.
I was a church organist at the age of 19 in the National Bureau of Prison. They're very kind, hospitable and sweet kind friendly people. I miss them 🙏❤️
this is from my hometown ni iwahig, puerto princesa city. those are all hardened criminals but they are ready too be released becauses they served their time. most of them have 2-3 years left in their sentence.
I think your perception of prison and prisoners is a little misguided! You have to learn first how a nation deals about their justice systems and before you venture inside a prison? You should expect everything..
That is true. He went at the lightest prison in the Philippines where each prisoner have very good morals and reputation no matter its sentence. But it is much better as opposed to the US in their prison system.
Many prisoners are actually innocent... Justice here is very hard. If you don't have a money ( for short poor). You cannot get the right justice for you even thou you are innocent.. But if you have the money and the connection on government. For sure you will be aquited and the case files against you will be just a dust in the wind in the court... That's the reality and a fact . In our justice system here in the Philippines..
This is so interesting. It makes me want to go to Palawan and visit it first hand. The prison Guard shared a lot of fascinating information about Iwahig 👏👏

No need for translator in the Philippines coz most Filipinos can handle basic conversation if they are not shy. You just need to talk slow and listen diligently on their answer.
Lot of tirador(hitman of prison gang) was sent their also leader of prison gang like commander or retared commander but they live in peaceful there and no much trouble compared to muntinlupa maximum prison

I don't think I've ever been in a Philippine prison. This is a very unique experience and fascinating.
I mean … you’ve been to so many prisons that you aren’t sure, but you ‘don’t think you’ve ever been in a Philippine prison’??? 😮
@@gailgrant3209 I'll trust your experience of the Philippine prison experience to be definitive.
