- The Snap On Bench Top Battery Charger Plus EEBC30A12V has truly been amazing for me and honestly I have had countless people reach out and give me the same feedback. There are a few tools/products sometimes that certain companies knock out of the park and this is one of those items. I have the charger linked below to snap on's website as well as my linktree

I have one and have similar praises to say about it. Mine did have an issue recently where the screen wouldn't turn on. You could hear the relay inside clicking when you started charging but nothing on the display would show so i couldn't see what options i was choosing. My rep sent it off and had it fixed and so far so good.
Biggest benefit to paying "way to much" for Snap-on. When something happens to it, send it off and get it back fixed within a couple of weeks.
Bought mine 2 months ago after my old charger died. Very well designed unit. The stable power is a very nice feature. Honestly everything about it seems very though out. From the replaceable cables and cord, the cord management system, aluminum hideaway hook to the fact that it was made to fit in a drawer.
Agreed
Ive been on the fence about this charger for a while now! I have several snap-on battery chargers, and maintainers, but this one i dont have 😅, really itchin again 😂
😏😏😂😂
Great review! Do you know if the charger has temperature compensation to adjust charging voltage based on low ambient temperature (cold battery mode)?
Thanks! Appreciate you watching. Not sure but I bet it has that info on the site.
So you’re saying I can’t use it to maintain my battery during diagnostics if I have a bmw?
Programming. You can use it for diagnostic
My main question is will it charge a dead battery???
Sometimes I kill the batteries other battery chargers won’t charge if they don’t see a certain volts in the battery.
The battery chargers back in the day as soon as you turn them on voltage came out no matter what the battery chargers now need to see a certain voltage from the battery for them to send volts I need a battery charger that don’t care it just sends power.
Yes it repairs it then charges it but some batteries are too far gone to charge if the cell is bad so it truly depends on the battery.
@@Enrightauto ok then that answers my question.
I don’t see the point of a battery charger that can’t charge dead batteries.
The ones that can’t charge dead batteries should all have there names change to battery maintains.
How does this compare to the big snap on rolling charger? The one that looks like a dolly
Not the same thing. One you can use for programming and updates the other you can’t.
Doe it bring dead battery back to life as they said in the ad
It’s a battery charger :) that’s what it’s designed to do.
Had a car that hadn’t been started in over a year. 0 volts when I tested the battery. Hooked up this charger and it repaired and charged the battery. Car cranks every time now.
Would this be good for a 4 pack battery pack for semis?
Honestly I don’t know
I just got one I do a lot of recalls at my dealership which require me to be plugged into the vehicle for long periods of time would this work to keep the battery charged while I do the module updates??
No it’s not designed for updates you need 90amps minimum for updates and programming
@@Enrightautothis unit is enough for hondas.. right? To do updates I mean
@@dabaydestrian437 no you need 90amps this only does 30 amps
