Yes! I agree, I didn’t like the master matte’s either! I bought it and returned it and then repurchased it thinking I’ll get a better palette and felt like I was supposed to like it. Lol
Ha! I have done that with products before...they are so hyped up I feel like something is wrong with me when I don't like them.
I tried a sample of the YSL and thought it looked really pretty but I couldn’t tell if it was making my chin break out; maybe due to the fragrance? I need a really good, go-to, everyday neutral eyeshadow palette. I have a lot of “fun” palettes but I really need a “simmer down - it’s 7am” palette 😂
Bummer on the foundation! I think Tarte makes great neutral palettes. The juicy palette (original, large one that is now discontinued) is one of my fave palettes of all time.

That color you said about a pretty Smokey eye from Mario palette is my favvvoritttee color in it also agree about the shimmers they definitely fall out and they don’t stay on my lids that well. Mandy, you’ve never steered me wrong when it comes to things you recommend so I went ahead and ordered the scent you spoke of and while I was at it I ordered the leather and brandy one. I know Tom Ford has an ombré leather scent that I ADORE so I’m hoping the Bath & Body Works one is similar. Thanks for sharing your thoughts about the Makeup by Mario palette. It’s the only palette of his I own and I’m having fun playing with it. I actually had a young woman compliment me on my eyeshadow while I was wearing the MBM palette and that’s never happened to me before. Quite nice! 🥰
I got the Whiskey Reserve one for my dad for Christmas. They all smell so good, especially for the price. I would love to hear what you think of the Leather Brandy one. Love that you are loving the palette!! It has gorgeous colors.

Okay so on your recommendation I tested the coffee and whiskey scent from Bath&Body Works and ooooooohhhh my I am obsessed! You are sooo right there is just something about it. I mean yes you smell the coffee and whiskey but together it’s magical. I had to go to three different stores because they were sold out everywhere.

Another video that is so helpful because I want the Mario eye palette and keep reading bad reviews! I got the Hourglass palette in elephant and loved it except that the coral blush did not agree with my skin. Turned me red so gifted if to one of my girls. And now I need the Coffee and Whisky scent!

So gorgeous. Would you pretty please in an upcoming video show how you prime your lids? They’re perfection before you begin and it’s something I’m struggling with. I have so much discoloration and nothing I do seems to help.

Have you tried the new Fitglow beauty cream lip and cheek palette? I’m loving it and they blend like a dream with my elf brushes. On the lips they are great too if you like a matte lip

I find when I put a darker shade on my outer V of my lid it really makes my eyes appear smaller than they are, everyone on here has to add depth to the outer corner, I do NOT see why a look can’t NOT have that darker end to it…. Thank you for reassuring me with you look that you do not have to have a darker edge ,) My new favorite scents is by Jean Paul the “Guiltar”, OMG amazing when first sprayed and even better during the dry down just AMAZING
Yes, you definitely don't have to do that at all...it's not meant for all eye shapes, and I love the freshness of not having it sometimes. I will have to check out that scent...thanks!
Can you recommend an affordable eyeshadow palette with the shades of rose like you have used on. your eyes here?
Hi Shannon....I haven't found any other palettes with the formula like this one, but you can check out Essence...they are some of my favorite shadows in the drugstore category. They have a lot of shades, and I know they have some rosy palettes. Hope this helps!

I know what you mean about boozy scents. I have the coffee and whiskey candle from Bath and Body Works. I don't wear perfume or I would probably get the scent you mentioned.

Question for Mandy. Do you recommend I get a mascara primer? I’m completely new to women’s makeup. I have only used mascara on its own, but I can’t get my lashes looking anywhere near as full and pretty as yours. Will a primer make the difference? I have been trying to actually make my lashes physically thicker by applying castor oil to them on a daily basis. I also purchased an eyelash curler (which I’m still getting used to). Please HELP. Does the castor oil actually make lash hairs grow thicker? Do you recommend anything? Should I get some mascara primer and use that instead? I only own (my very first) mascara, Lashcraft Defining Mascara from Sephora which I bought this year. Thank you so much Mandy. Peace, Calvin. PS. I really do love watching your makeup videos. I personally think primer makes a huge difference. I don't let it dry in between...I find it makes it harder for the mascara to adhere. I apply primer, apply mascara, and then go on to the other eye. It makes everything look more voluminous and also aids in helping to make sure there is less flaking and smudging. And thank you!!!

If you've heard about the Balenciaga scandal involving children; you should be aware that Gucci and YSL are owned by the parent company; Kering. The CEO of Kering is involved in selling dolls of a sexual nature involving children. I would strongly advise not supporting these brands as you are giving money to companies involved in child exploitation, depictions of abuse that run beyond just an ad campaign but involves multiple creative directors; photographers; and designers as well as other vile behavior. I wanted to order from the Mario Website and was drawn back by the Internat. shipping cost (pmg offers comparable value/money ratio with free shipping). For the sales i came back only to fill my car again and the code being denied bc of my address. Now i am done. Really done with that brand. Btw ridiculous packaging quality (like pmg) at this price range and the eyeliner, when still available at cultbeauty, was a huge disappointment, esp. bc of the reddish-brown undertone compared to other brands

@@MandyDavisMUA o yes, i'd tried some if it was available but Sephora in Europe has not the same brands. It stands out to me that it drew back from such a big retailer, to go back to intercontinental B2C shipments. f.e. kkw/skims does it the same way and i doubt this is good strategy in the long run.
